Lifan KPR 150 Review
Lifan is one of the most leading motorcycle manufacturer company in China along with Loncin and Zongshen. Most of the media keep Lifan motors into the first position among all other bike manufacturer in China. KPR 150 released by Lifan motors in China in the year 2014. It became racing champion on that year in China among all other 150 cc motorcycle. It was launched in Bangladesh on 21st February, 2015 by Rasel Industries limited. 4 different colors were available in 2015 including red, black, purple and white. White & yellow multiple (Corsa White) colored KPR came after 6 month from it’s launching period. Rosso Black (Red & Black) and Ninja Green (Green & Black) KPR V2 came in 2017. KPR V2 come with more refined engine, eye-catchy sticker & new designed seat. Even, RIL reduced it’s price as well in this year. Should to add that KPR 200 probably launching in India very soon.

Design & looks: First impression is the last impression where Lifan motors did their job perfectly. Definitely, it was a great architectural model and comparable with any other racing motorcycle. Most positive side of this bike is, it’s gorgeous design. Nice shaped LED light and it’s cover, smart fairing, digital speedometer, dashing seating position and tyre wheel make it easy to sale. V2 stickers and decoration of the seats add another dimension.
Engine performance: 158 cc water cooled engine with 14.08 bhp power and 14 Nm torque make KPR a full filled racing bike. It’s 137 km/h top speed should enough to understand the actual ability of this machine. Though it’s starting sound isn’t comparable with other Japanese motorcycle but it’s roar in speedy moment. Comparatively, KPR engine have less opportunity to become over heated cause of this liquid cooling system. Some biker continuously 24 hour and around 1600 km ride this machine where it was performed excellent as far we know from social media.
Dimensions & seating position: Length, height & width respectively 2060 mm, 760 mm & 1105 mm make this bike more user friendly. It’s 150 kg weight keep it vibration less in more than 100 km/h speed. Specialists, kept it’s seating position between Yamaha R15 and Honda CBR. Even riders usually don’t face any back pain after long ride. This motorcycle is fit for 5 feet 6 inch to 6 feet tall riders which match the physical growth of Asian peoples as well.
Suspension & Brakes: Telescopic & monoshock suspension still have no object from biker community. Double disc guide a rider to reduce it’s speed in crucial moment. It’s rear brake installation procedure is little bit different than other 150 cc bikes and it’s too hard to find a local mechanics to fix any kind of problem. Though RIL limited provide 3-4 month after free service for the customers but it was not enough.
Mileage: 37 km average mileage for a racing bike isn’t bad at all. Even team “Deshi biker” test it in highway where it was provide 45 km mileage as well. But a rider should technically set up isn’t tuning as it can provide more better performance.
Instrument Panel & Features: It’s a full fill digital motorcycle where having digital speedometer, tachometer, low fuel indicator, speed converter, clock etc. But as a racing motor bike, it should have a top speed recorder. It’s looking glass set up have a fault which may cause of amputee in touch situation.
Colors & Price: A racing bike within this budget will make you surprise but actually it have most the features you need. It’s really difficult to satisfy a rider in all sides but it’s is over all condition more than enough within this budget indeed. New color addition mitigate the demand of riders as well.
