Yamaha FZ-X Overview

Design & looks: Based on the Yamaha FZ-S Fi platform, the Yamaha FZ-X is the first neo-retro bike. It offers a modern full LCD instrument cluster that is compatible with the Yamaha Y connect app which helps the rider access features such as call and SMS alerts, mileage details, last parked location, and malfunction alert. Both headlamp and taillamp are LED, the headlight offers BI-Functional LED and taillight lights up in an oval-shaped ring. The toughness, design, comfort, connectivity and safety of this new motorcycle will make every ride feel like a burst of freedom with a classic retro look.

Engine performance: The all-new Yamaha FZ-X comes with a powerful 149cc FI-Blue core air-cooled 4-stroke SOHC, 2-Valve, Single-cylinder fuel-injected engine which produces 12.4 PS @ 7250 rpm maximum power and 13.3 Nm @ 5500 rpm maximum torque. Due to its powerful engine and better acceleration, the Yamaha engines are in a league of their own. 

Dimensions & seating position:  The Yamaha FZ-X has a better seating position where the dimension of the bike is (2020 * 785 * 1,115 ) mm. It offers a ground clearance of 165 mm and the weight is 139 kg (with oil & a full fuel tank). Due to its weight and great dimensions, the rides will be steady even on a high-speed run. The front tyre is 100/80-17, Tubeless and rear is 140/60R17, Tubeless with alloy wheels that provide extra grip and make the ride safer.

Suspension & Brakes: The all-new Yamaha FZ-X is equipped with a telescopic fork, 41mm Inner Tube Diameter, with Fork Boot for the front and 7-Step Adjustable Monocross Suspension for the rear which will provide assured comfort on any type of jerky roads. Not just that the front fork is fitted with a fork boot that provides protection against inner tube scratches or dents while adding a look of old-school authenticity. Now to the brakes, Yamaha has used  282 mm disc brake with single-channel ABS with 2-pot Caliper ensure pinpoint breaking with superior stability and 220 mm disc for the rear.

Mileage: With the handling and good riding comfort, the Yamaha FZ-X will provide at least 42 Kmpl.

Instrument Panel & Features: The Yamaha FZ-X comes with an LCD instrument screen, the tachometer offers an analog look that shows the revs in a circular pattern. If connected with a phone it also displays notifications. Other notable features include a USB charging port just below the instrument console, an offset fuel tank cap and a tuck-and-roll single-piece seat with upright handlebars. LED indicators, engine guard, seat cover, tank grips, and chromed-out rearview mirrors are installed as they are a part of official accessories.

Colors & Price: Yamaha has offered three color variants of the FZ-X. These are Black, Orange and Brown. The official price of the FZ-X is 360,000 BDT.
