125cc is the most selling and demanding commuter motorcycle segment in Bangladesh. Almost every motorcycle company have their motorcycles in this segment. The main reason behind it is the most number of people lives in the rural areas and the other one is the high fuel price rate. But on the other hand, commuter motorcycles are easy to control and also fuel economic. Indian brands Bajaj and TVS has bikes in this segment. But recently the Japanese brand Suzuki enter this segment with GSX 125. Though this is a Japanese bike, the 125cc commuter segment now have a strong competitor.

TVS striker is also an decent and top selling 125cc commuter motorcycle. This motorcycle gets a single cylinder , 4 stroke, air cooled spark ignition, 125cc engine and can burn out 11 Bhp maximum power at 8000 rpm and 10.8 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. In this category, Bajaj Discover 125 is a testified weapon of Bajaj. This one is rumored to be the best selling commuter bike in Bangladesh. This one have a Single cylinder, 2-valve, DTS-i with ExhausTEC, 124.6cc engine and can produce 11 Bhp maximum power at 8000 rpm and 10.8 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm.
Suspension and Mileage:
All three motorcycles have Telescopic suspension in the front wheel. For the rough road conditions like Bangladesh, it’s more effective than a USD suspension. Though most of the commuter motorcycle users lived in the rural areas, for that these bikes comes with dual-shock suspension in rear. Dual-shock suspensions are good to carrying weight. TVS striker 125 can provide better mileage than other two. This bike can provide 60 km/l average mileage. On the other hand Suzuki GSX 125 can deliver 50 km/l and Bajaj Discover can 55 km/l average mileage.
