They have some quality commuter motorcycles and TVS XL 100 is one of them. Basically, this one is a moped motorcycle and specially designed to carry luggage and goods. Looks & Appearance:
As we said, this motorcycle is designed to carry luggage and weights. So, it’s made with solid and durable plastics to not broken apart. The small fuel tank mounted at the front helps to get a large storage space. You can easily carry a lot of things using this storage space. TVS XL 100 KS and iTouch look the same apart from the electronic start system. But the XL 100 Comfort variant looks slightly different in looks. The traditional round headlight cover with a plastic cap and also equipped with dual-tone large seats. This scooter/moped has also a storage capacity on the rear side and a large pillion grabrail which is helpful to carry goods. The headlight, taillight, and side indicator lights are halogen as standard.
Engine Performance and Mileage:
Moped motorcycles are not meant to be fast and speedy. People use this kind of motorcycle to day to day transport. TVS XL 100 equipped with a single-cylinder, four-stroke, 99.7cc engine which can produce 4.3 PS maximum power at 6000 rpm and 6.5 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. With this moderate engine power, you can easily maneuver through a traffic jam. There is no gearbox available in this motorcycle and the top speed would be around 70 km/h. TVS claims that it can provide up to 65-70 km/l mileage in any type of road condition.
Dimensions and controlling:
TVS XL 100 Comfort is a light scooter that is pretty standard in size but light in weight. It is 2020 mm long, 750 mm wide, and 1110 mm high. Besides, the seat height is 770 mm which has a 1215 mm wheelbase. The ground clearance is 155 mm. This moped bike has 4 litres capacity fuel tank capacity with 1.3 litres reserve capacity. The kerb weight of the scooter is 80 kg. The seats are well comfortable and pillion can easily sit on this. The handlebar position is ergonomic and you can easily ride for a couple of hours.
Suspension and Brake:
Suspensions are very important for a scooter like this. If the suspensions don’t work properly then you have to suffer a lot. TVS uses a telescopic spring-type hydraulic suspension in the front and dual-shock suspensions in the rear wheel. Dual-shock suspensions are useful to carry luggage or weights. The braking performance maintained by an 80 mm drum brake in the front and a 110 mm drum brake in the rear wheel. They have installed 2.50 – 16 41L 6PR size tube-type tyre in both wheels because of the spoke wheels.
TVS XL 100 gets a regular instrument panel which is features with speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge. TVS XL 100 available in Bangladesh with five different shades.
