In Bangladesh, touring and traveling attitude among bikers is increasing. But there is a lacking of cruiser motorcycles in Bangladesh. Some Chinese brands are now importing cruiser bikes in Bangladesh. Indian Brand Bajaj and Japanese brand Suzuki has only one cruiser bikes. But the number is not satisfier. Recently Chinese brand Lifan and USA brand UM launched their bikes. But the price range is too high for a rider. The other Chinese brand Haojue has also a cruiser motorcycle called TR 150. This bike has a decent look, engine performance and also reasonable.
Haojue TR 150 comes with a stunning and eye-catchy design. This bike bike can easily noticed by anyone for its outlook. Its muscular fuel tank gets glossy paint scheme and an extension kit under the tank. You will find some silver colored plastic kits in its body. But don’t get fooled to think of aluminum. But the headlight hood, handlebar, rear view mirrors and the engine crush guard are aluminum.
Haojue also added a engine cowl guard to make this bike sporty. The trapezoidal headlight looks stunning from the front, but the lighting unit can be LED apart from the halogen bulb. The tail light and side indicator lights are also halogen.
The seats are split, quite long and also comfortable for rider and pillion both. They have added a stylish pillion grabrail on it. There is also two toolbox added at the rear part. You can carry documents, motorcycle accessories and necessary goods on it. This feature is quite helpful to a cruiser bike. The over use of silver color would be annoying to some bikers.
Cruiser bikes are basically made for long tour and comfortable ride. For that, handlebar setting plays a vital roll. Its handlebar is wide enough and also up-raised. It will give you a feel like the famous Harley Davidson.
Crouser bikes are not fast like a standard commuter or sports bikes. But it has to be a good mid-range power.
Haojue TR 150 has a Air Cooled, 4 Stroke, Single Cylinder, 149cc engine that can produce 11.1 Bhp maximum power at 8000 rpm and 11.4 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. Though it’s quite low engine power output for a 150cc motorcycle but as a cruiser, it’s seem to be enough. For a smooth transmission they used a five speed gearbox and a wet multi-plate clutch. This bike can gain the top speed of around 105 km/h and can provide 42 km/l average mileage.
The overall dimension of this bike look standard. The length of this bike is 2100 mm, width 870 mm, height 1170 mm and the kerb weight is 145 kg. This bike has a standard ground clearance of 165 mm and seat height 725 mm. For this seat height, any heightened biker can ride this bike. The fuel tank capacity is 11.5 L.
The cast alloy wheels have an outstanding design. Haojue installed a 280 mm disc brake in the front and a 130 mm drum brake in the rear wheel. There is no surprise to the suspension setting also. In fron telescopic fork and twin-shock absorber in the rear.
The front and rear both tyres are tubeless. The front size is 90/90-18 and the rear one is 110/90-16. The rear rim is 2 inch smaller than the front which is a common technical advantage for a cruiser bike. It provides comfortable ride and less back and shoulder pain.
The instrument panel of this bike is divided into two section. One is mounted at the middle of the fuel tank and its digital. It contains of speedo meter, odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge. And the other part is analog and its at the middle of handlebar. This part has a classic look and its contains with only tachometer which is analog.
This one is one of the most low budget cruiser motorcycle in Bangladesh. It only costs 144,000 BDT. This cruiser is available with two different color shades in Bangladesh, those are Dark Blue and Dark Red.
