Atlas Zongshen is a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer but their products which are used to be imported in Bangladesh are assembled in Bangladesh. They have not won the market in Bangladesh but they are trying. They have a number of models of products that have been released in the country already but unfortunately, they are not getting so popular. The usage of this brand is still poor. To make themselves one of the established Chinese brands in Bangladesh, they have still a long way to go. Now, they are working to unleash some standard bikes for all types of users considering in Bangladesh.

Recently, Atlas Zongshen released a 125 cc bike where 125 is a very popular segment in Bangladesh. There are not many such category bikes available in the market and so, it would face considerably low competition. There are just a few numbers of renowned 125 cc bikes found in the market where Hero, Bajaj, TVS, and Honda are dominating the market and their price range is just a bit higher than Chinese bikes. So, Atlas Zongshen ZS125-68 might get a chance to increase its popularity through their product’s price is more than expected and so, the company should reduce the price a little and make it more acceptable.

Design & looks: Atlas Zongshen ZS125-68 is a standard bike but a pretty different looking one. It has completely unique and strong mudguard attached to the long seating position. Considering its fuel tank shape, it can be compared with dirt bikes, and like that its fuel tank is pretty smaller. But the wheels are alloy and there is no chain cover included which gives it a little sports look. The grab rail is long and has pretty space to carry a small bag there. Overall, it looks almost good.

Engine performance: Atlas Zongshen ZS125-68 is powered by a 124.9 cc engine which generates 8 kW @8500 rpm max power and 9.2 Nm @ 7000 rpm max torque. The top speed of the bike would be 90 km per hour reportedly. However, it’s the engine is air-cooled and OHC technology added. The total number of gears are five.

Dimensions & seating position: Overall dimensions of ZS125-68 are 2040 mm, 780 mm, and 1120 mm which are generally length, width, and height. Besides, it has a 1290 mm wheelbase. The fuel tank seems smaller but can contain a huge amount of fuel which is 17 liters reportedly. Kerb weight of the bike is 122 kg. Due to a long pillion seat, three persons can ride on this 125 cc bike.

Suspension & Brakes: Like all the standard bikes, the company has used telescopic front suspension for the ZS125-68 bike and the rear suspension is twin spring-loaded. They would provide a great deal of comfort. However, brakes are also good for the bike where the front brake is a disc and the rear brake is a drum.

Mileage: Reportedly this bike of Atlas Zongshen would give 65 km average mileage whereas the company has claimed that it would provide almost 70 km mileage on the highway. This is no extraordinary feature of the bike where most 125 cc bikes could provide such mileage.

Instrument Panel & Features: The speedometer of the bike ZS 125-68 is digital where the clock, fuel gauge, odometer, and trip meter are added. Besides, there is an analog tachometer or the RPM meter is attached to the bike.

Colors & Price: Atlas Zongshen ZS125-68 is currently available in Bangladesh with just one color which is Red but hopefully in the near future, the new colors of these products would reveal. The current price of this machine is BDT 120,000.
