Bajaj CT 100 ES Overall Review
Bajaj is the largest motorcycle manufacturing brand in India which is also originated in India so far. They are holding the biggest motorcycle market in India as well as in Bangladesh and considering the recent statistics in Bangladesh, Bajaj is highly demanded and most selling brand so far. Regularly, Bajaj used to launch different new products in the market of Bangladesh and sometimes, they used to launch the updated version of the available bikes.
If we consider their top-rated and most selling products in Bangladesh in recent times, Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTSi is the highly demanded and most selling bike along with the Bajaj Discover series. But earlier Bajaj CT 100 was also the heavy demanded but in recent times, the bike seems a little bit outdated. It has no self-starting system wherein Bangladesh’s most of the bikes are holding the facility. People used to buy advanced technology bikes all the time and though the best features of the bike CT 100 were very good but due to some old features, the demand for the bike was reduced. So, Bajaj has solved the problem by launching an updated version of the bike named Bajaj CT 100 ES which consists of electric start along with some more advanced features added. The bike is available in India but still not available in Bangladesh so far. Hopefully, it will come to the country soon enough. Let’s see the complete details of the bike CT 100 ES below.
Design & looks: Bajaj CT 100 ES is completely alike with the older version of Bajaj CT 100 considering the looks. They have brought some change in the seating position but it is not eye-catching. There are a standard and comfortable handlebar with all-new alloy wheels. Besides, it has a sharee guard for female pillion with pillion grabrail attached. Overall the bike Bajaj CT 100 ES is fully user-friendly and suitable for all types of people.
Engine performance: Bajaj CT 100 ES is powered by a 102 cc engine with a single cylinder and four-stroke technology added. The max power of the bike is 7.7 PS in 7500 rpm and max torque is 8.24 NM in 4500 rpm. The bore is less than a stroke. However, the engine of the bike has natural air cooling engine technology and reported top speed of the bike can cross 90 kmph. It has a four-speed gearbox with wet type multi-plate clutch.
Dimensions & seating position: Bajaj CT 100 ES is a standard measured bike that is 1945 mm long, 752 mm wide and 1072 mm high. Besides, it has 160 mm ground clearance and the wheelbase of the bike is 1235 mm. The kerb weight of CT 100 ES is 110 kg which has 10.5 liters capacity fuel tank. The seat is pretty much comfortable and long where two pillions can ride with a rider as we speak.
Suspension & Brakes: Braking system of Bajaj CT 100 ES is not too updated it has both drum brakes in front and rear where at least front hydraulic disc brake should be added. But suspensions are too good and ensures proper comfort. The front suspension is hydraulic, telescopic which is 125 mm travel and rear suspension is hydraulic spring type which is a twin. Due to better suspensions, rider and pillion feel no pain and proper comfort during a long ride.
Mileage: The mileage of Bajaj CT 100 ES would be good. We know the mileage of the older version of Bajaj CT 100 but yet to know the mileage of the upgrade version of the bike. But hopefully, it’s mileage would be more than 60 km average.
Instrument Panel & Features: The bike Bajaj CT 100 ES has all analog but updated front panel attached. The speedometer is analog which has a tachometer, fuel gauge, trun lamp, and tail lamp.
Colors & Price: Just Blue and Red colors of the bike Bajaj CT 100 ES is available in the Indian market and both of them came to Bangladesh. The current market price of this commuter two-wheeler is 1,10,000 BDT.
