Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS Review
Indian biggest motorcycle manufacturing company Baja has become popular brand in Bangladesh within very short time. The most important reason behind this is people used to buy better quality products within reasonable price. Bajaj yet to be revealed any product which price is more than BDT 2,50,000. On the other sides, if we compare the products with any reputed company in Bangladesh, the quality of Bajaj is almost similar. Among one of the top products of Bajaj, Pulsar is still the best which is also the most sold motorcycle in India as well as in Bangladesh. Basically, Bajaj released 150 cc Pulsar at the beginning and later, they also brought a revised version of 135 cc which could not dominate the market as like Pulsar 150. So, later, it was removed from the market but after a long time of stopping it’s production, Bajaj is going to release the update edition of Pulsar 135 and this time, it will be known as Pulsar 135 LS.
Pulsar 135 LS is made by complete latest BS4 technology which is also regarded as the entry level Pulsar with most affordable price. It’s new engine technology was once used by XCD 135 motorcycle. Due to the engine power, it can be compared with any entry level 150 cc motorcycles within same segment engine.
The machine is yet to be released in Bangladesh but hopefully is going to launch soon. Just before making any final decision about this motorcycle, let’s take a look below where we present the complete details of Pulsar 135 LS which would help you to make the right choice.
Design & looks: The design of Pulsar 135 LS is almost remains the same as old one. Just same fuel tank structure with a little kit added on both side of the tank which gives almost sports looks. Though, it is a standard category motorcycle but due to the dashing shape of body, compatible head lamp and a bit higher sitting position, it often seems like a sports motorcycle.
Engine performance: Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS consists of 134.66 cc engine which can generate 13.3 Bhp @ 9000 rpm maximum power with 11.4 Nm @ 7500 rpm maximum torque. The power of the engine is almost same as Pulsar 150 cc. Besides, it consists of single cylinder, four stroke, four valve, air cooled DTSi engine with BS4 emission standard. Stroke is greater than bore where bore is 54 mm and stroke is 58.8 mm. With five speed gearbox, the bike can run with highest 110 km per hour.
Dimensions & seating position: According to the dimension, it is bit smaller than Pulsar 150 where it’s length is 1995 mm, width 765 mm and height is 1045 mm. With 165 mm ground clearance, it can pass the speed breaker easily. However, the seat height of the bike is 800 mm but for the pillion, it would be a little higher. The weight of the bike is 121 kg which is a bit lower comparatively but due to it’s fuel tank model, it can cross air without any problem. Besides, six spoke alloy wheels make the bikes looks more attractive.
Suspension & Brakes: The suspension of the motorcycle is well enough to give proper comfort to the riders. In the front wheel, telescopic suspension is used along with anti friction bush and for the rear wheel, five way adjustable nitrox shock absorber is used. Besides, the brake are also standard level where for front portion, 240 mm hydraulic disc brake is used and for rear, 130 mm drum brake is used. The balance of the bike is very well due to balanced braking system. Though, in last version of Pulsar 135, the tyres are used including tubes but in latest edition, tubeless tyres are used.
Mileage: Though the bike is yet to be revealed, so, we do not know about the mileage accurately. But according to the different websites, more than 50 km mileage is claimed an average where almost 55 km on highway and more than 45 km mileage on city roads. If the news is true, then 50 km mileage would be more than enough for such latest model bike.
Instrument Panel & Features: Instrument panel of Pulsar 135 LS is completely updated and most of the features are digital. There are digital speedometer but analog tachometer, digital trip meter along with digital fuel gauge. Besides, there are also pass light with dual horn system. Latest AHO system is also used for the machine.
Colors & Price: Total three colors would be available in Bangladeshi market soon after releasing the bike in the country which are Nuclear Blue, Laser Black and Dyno Red. Though, Pulsar 135 LS is yet to launch in Bangladesh, so, it’s price is still unknown. But, considering the style and configurations, it would perhaps same as before.
