Hero is a top rated Indian brand and still regarded as one of the three most reliable Indian brand so far. Though earlier they were attached to the Japanese Honda company and jointly produced two wheelers and launched them into different countries along with India but later, they were separated and now Hero and Honda are just separately producing bikes. After getting separated, Hero faced some troubles at the first time but now they are recovered their position though still their top rated 150 cc bikes are passing danger period and due to old designed they could not dominate the market in home and abroad. Like others, in Bangladesh Hero is regarded as one of the top reliable brand but their products are not heavy demanded still now.

So, Hero MotoCorp Ltd is moving very carefully and change their policy. They are willing to release new designed bikes in India as well as in Bangladesh reportedly and old designed would be removed from the market soon enough. Now, they have shifted their attention to the scooters because still in Bangladesh, there are shortage of different designed reliable brands scooters. Their one new 110 cc scooter would be available in market soon though still they have couple of models cub are available in the market. The upcoming 110 cc scooter will be Hero Duet and no doubt it would be one of a kind.

Let’s make an analysis about their upcoming new product and here we present below the scooter’s specification review for you.

Design & looks: Hero Duet is a 110 cc scooter which is very beautiful to look at. It has standard type handlebar which causes no pain to the riders. There are good space at the front for riders to keep foot and seat is long and comfortable. The front end of the bike seems a little aggressive and stylish headlamp is located. There are long and strong pillion grabrail and footrest are also added to the bike and nice shaped silencer pipe is really beautiful. The tyres are wide but small in size.

Engine performance: Hero Duet is powered by 110.9 cc engine displacement. Besides, it has 8.31 Bhp@8000 rpm max power and 8.30 Nm@ 6500 rpm max torque. The engine is air cooled and four stroke. However, the ignition type is FTIS. It has automatic gear and automatic clutch system added to the scooter. It’s top speed is 85 kmph reportedly.

Dimensions & seating position: Hero Duet is well measured bike which is 1830 mm long, 726 mm wide and 1139 mm high. Besides, it would be comfortable for short of tall people due to seat height which is 770 mm. Though ground clearance is bit poor. Like most of the scooters, it can contain 5.5 litres fuel. The weight of the scooter is 115 kg but can carry 130 kg maximum load which means, a pillion can comfortably ride on it.

Suspension & Brakes: Telescopic hydraulic shock absorber is used for the front wheel of the scooter which is 30 mm and for rear, Unit Swing with spring loaded hydraulic damper suspension is used. The suspensions are too great and causes no back pain during long ride but ensure pretty comfort. Besides, both brakes of the bikes are drum which are 130 mm each.  

Mileage: Mileage is completely satisfying of the scooter Hero Duet 110. According to the report, it’s average mileage is 65 km which will increase on highway definitely. Generally people used to like to buy a scooter for lightweight and great mileage. Hopefully, Duet will fill up their requirement easily.

Instrument Panel & Features: Front panel of the scooter Hero Duet is a mixture of analog and digital functions. There are analog speedometer but odometer and clock are digital. Besides, there is also service reminder option and fuel gauge is also analog designed. However, electric start is another update feature of the scooter. There are pillion footrest, pass light, mobile charging socket, under seat luggage lamp and rear luggage hook are added.

Colors & Price: In India, there are six different colors of Hero Duet 110 is available but in Bangladesh just three colors would be release soon which are Red, White and Blue. Price of the scooter is yet to be known.
