Honda CBR 150R (Thailand) Overall Review
Honda is examined as one of the top three two wheeler manufacturing company in the world which used to compete in every season of World MotoGP contest. However, Honda is the Japanese brand which used to export their product most of the countries and due to the better quality product, Honda has become the symbol of trustworthy brand. Though, the cost of this brand’s products are bit higher than Indian product but considering the strong machine, it seems alright.
Honda CBR 150R is just the revised version of 250cc CBR and made by the same technology. It came to the market of Bangladesh after Yamaha R15 but within very short time, it has become the top rival of R15. R15 just revealed an update version where CBR already released plenty of new versions of their bike. They last revealed their latest model in 2016 which is known as CBR 150R by using the latest technology and looks. Besides, it consists of of most powerful engine with impressive torque. However, there are two different version of CBR 150R is available in Bangladesh which are known as Thailand version and Indonesia version. Both are using latest and almost same technology but there are a few price difference is still noticed. However, let’s have a look below where we provide the full data of Honda CBR 150R Thailand.
Design & looks: CBR 150R is one of the most stylish and good looking sports bike in Bangladesh which can attract any kinds of riders at the first sight. It’s design has come from it’s elder sibling CBD 250R. If you are not completely aware of their different color schemes, you can not separate them on road. At the front, it would very hard to distinguish. Due to the complete sports looks, highest two men can ride on the bike easily. With better color combination, the outlooks of CBR 150R is amazing no doubt.
Engine performance: The bike Honda CBR 150R is powered by 150 cc , fuel injected air cooled engine which consists of four stroke, DOHC with four valve included. Besides, it has the max power of 18.28 Bhp @ 10500 rpm and max torque of 12.66 Nm @ 8500 rpm. Six speed gearbox with wet multi plate type clutch plate is included into the bike. The bike can make 0 – 60 km per hour speed within just 4.9 seconds and 0 – 100 km per hour speed in 11.72 seconds. However, it can cross 140 km per hour speed easily.
Dimensions & seating position: The dimension of CBR 150R is completely sporty. It has 2000 mm length, 825 mm width and 1120 mm height. Besides, it has better ground clearance with 190 mm but the seat height is bit lower than R15 which is 795 mm. The total weight of the bike is 138 kg with 13 litres fuel tank capacity. The seating position of the bike is also sporty which has splitted seat and space enough to carry just two persons. The bike can provide impossible speed by considering same displacement motorcycle but due to well designed of body kit, the riders would not face any kind of vibration while riding. The kit of the bike can easily pass the wind.
Suspension & Brakes: The suspensions of the bike can offer very comfortable ride to the riders and pillion. The telescopic forks suspension is used for front wheel where mono shock absorber is used for rear. However, the braking system of the bike is very good no doubt where Honda always aware for security. Than R15, Honda CBR 150R consists of bigger hydraulic disc brake of 276 mm on front where for rear, 220 mm disc brake is used. Though, it’s elder sibling has ABS braking technology but in the revised version of Honda does not possess same technology.
Mileage: Due to the sports category bike, naturally the mileage of the Japanese machine is poor. But, due to the update machine, it can provide almost 35 km mileage on city which would be increased to 45 on highway if the rider maintain the speed. So, average mileage of the bike would be 40 km.
Instrument Panel & Features: Excluding the tachometer, rest features of CBR 150R are digital. Only tachometer of the bike is analog. There are digital speedometer, digital trip meter, digital fuel gauge and some other latest features are included.
Colors & Price: There are number of versions of CBR 150R is currently available in market with different price and different configurations. But, here we talk about the Thailand version of CBR 150R which market price is BDT 525,000. Besides, three colors like Sports Red, Candy Palm Green and Jazzy Blue Metallic are available in the market.
