Honda CB150R ExMotion Feature Review
Honda is the origin of Japan and regarded as one of the oldest motorcycle producing companies in the world. Since the beginning, they are dominating the road throughout the world considering two-wheeler products. Nowadays, Honda bikes are assembled in a number of countries like India, Thailand, and Indonesia besides Japan. So, top-rated few bikes are divided into three different models or versions like Thailand Version and Indonesia version. But all are good. Now, Honda has recently launched a concept 150 cc bike in Thailand which is Honda CB150R ExMotion. It is basically a naked edition sports bike but some say it as Cafe Racer. However, the bike is very powerful and yet to be known its future. But considering some news, this bike would launch in different countries in the world along with the Indian subcontinent.
Honda’s biggest demanded market is the Indian subcontinent which consists of India, Bangladesh, and some other countries. Bangladeshi people are almost crazy about sports bikes nowadays and they are waiting eagerly for any upcoming latest designed sports bike and if the brand would be any Japanese, then they are out of control. Honda CB150R ExMotion is a naked sports bike that news has already revealed in Bangladesh and people are analyzing the beast.
Thailand Motor Show, this bike was revealed first in last March 2017 and hopefully within a very short period, it would come to market. So, Bangladesh bike lovers are now very fond of the design of this concept bike. Let’s see the bike’s specification review below.
Design & looks: Honda CB150R ExMotion is completely unique in design which has a split seating position and classic designed round headlamp. It has alloy wheels but tires are wide enough. Considering the design, it seems somewhat similar to Cafe Racer. The bike is pretty small like Cafe Racer which has an engine guard and muscular fuel tank. There is an aggressively designed kit attached to the tank. The handlebar is pretty sporty and there is the most stylish silencer pipe which is pretty much smaller. Overall, it is gorgeous looking naked sports category bike no doubt.
Engine performance: Honda CB150R ExMotion is powered by 149 cc engine displacement with an expected max power of 20 Hp. The engine is the Euro 6 Emission standard where the engine consists of one cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve and DOHC. However, it’s fuel system is PGM – FI which means, Programmed Fuel Injection. The total gears of the bike is six with a multi-plate wet clutch.
Dimensions & seating position: Honda CB150R ExMotion is pretty small like Cafe Racer. It is 1973 mm long, 822 mm wide and 1053 mm high. The seat height is 795 mm. The bike is suitable for all types of people. Though ground clearance is poor. The fuel tank capacity of the bike is 8.5 liters which should be more. It means the tank is smaller than looks. However, the weight of the bike is perfect which is 123 kg reportedly. The tyres are pretty wide where the front tyre is 110/70 and the rear tyre is 150/60 and both are tubeless. The seating position is split which is also comfortable for just one pillion. It is not so high and comparatively alright.
Suspension & Brakes: The brakes of the bike is fantastic. Both brakes are hydraulic discs where the front brake is 296 mm and the rear brake is 220 mm. Most amazingly, the company has installed the ABS braking system in it where ABS means, Anti-lock braking system. The suspensions are quite better than standard commuter where in front-wheel, Telescopic USD Forks suspension is used which is 41 mm and rear suspension is monoshock.
Mileage: However, the newborn product of Honda is yet to available in the market and so, we do not know the mileage of the beast. But it is a highly configured bike and so, it’s mileage would be less than standard commuter. More than 40 km of average mileage would be expected from the machine.
Instrument Panel & Features: The bike Honda CB150R ExMotion consists of fully updated and digitals feature included. Its front panel is highly amazing where all things are digital. There are digital speedometer, rpm meter, trip meter, odometer, clock, ABS light, fuel gauge, low fuel, and low oil indicator light and low battery indicator added.
Colors & Price: Four colors of Honda CB150R ExMotion would be available soon which are Asteroid Black Metallic, Matt Laurel Green Metallic, Pearl Cadet Gray and Millennium Red. This naked sports bike isn’t officially available by Bangladesh Honda Private Ltd yet. But only a few importers are importing this bike with few quantities. Though there is no fix price tag of this bike in the market usually it sale on 5,50,000/- (BDT).
