Honda Livo Review
Honda is regarded as the most popular and most demanded two wheeler brand which is the origin of Japan. It is one of the oldest and leading two wheeler manufacturing company in the world which won plenty of MotoGP world titles. Though, the products of Honda are from Japan but currently assembled in India. Since the beginning, Honda used to provide better support to the customers of Bangladesh and so, it’s demand is higher than any brands in the country. Peoples of Bangladesh have faith on the company and so, when they used to launch new products in the market, they do not feel any hesitation to buy it.
Now, Honda has added a 110 cc bike in their family which is Honda Livo. The bike has come to Bangladesh recently and it is not available all over Bangladesh where only a few numbers of showrooms have the product but within a short time, it will be available.
Honda Livo is a 110 cc bike which should be compared to the available 100 – 110 cc bikes in the country but due to attractive sporty looks, the price tag of the bike is comparatively higher than expected. Due to the high price tag, it can be compared to 125 cc bikes in Bangladesh. The mileage of the is very good and it has powerful and reliable engine technology.
However, Honda Livo has come with familiar but attractive design which has many common elements from Honda bikes. The bike is made for all types of buyers and especially for those who would look for an entry-level standard commuter but stylish within the minimum price. The details specification of Honda Livo is listed below.
Design & looks: Livo is one of the most attractive bikes of Honda company and from the side, it looks like CB Unicorn. Its fuel tank is most gorgeous which has extended cowl near the fuel tank. The fuel tank is fully muscular and from the rear, it has sharp looks which seems a smart entry-level motorcycle in the segment. However, it’s headlamp is most aggressive in design which gives a little sporty look. Due to better looks, it would be a perfect choice for young riders as well. The seating position is standard but matching with the tank. It has black color alloy wheels with red rear suspension. There is no engine guard that is noticed but black colored silencer pipe is good to look.
Engine performance: The bike Honda Livo is officially 110 cc bike but actual displacement is 109.19 cc. It has 8.25 Bhp @ 7500 rpm max power with 8.63 Nm @ 5500 rpm max torque. The power is compatible with 110 cc bikes which can run with 90 km per hour top speed. The compression ratio of the bike is good which is 9.9:1. Besides, the bike consists of two-valve, HET technology included which has a four-speed gearbox. Petrol is the compatible fuel for the engine of Livo.
Dimensions & seating position: The overall length of the Honda Livo is 2020 mm, width is 746 mm and height is 1099 mm. The dimension is fully standard and better and comfortable seating position. At least two pillions can easily ride on the bike. However, the ground clearance of the bike is 180 mm where the seat height of the bike is 800 mm. The wheelbase is 1285 mm. The kerb weight of the bike is 111 kg which is completely perfect for sports category bike. Fuel tank capacity is a bit less than most of the bikes which can contain 8.5 litres of fuel.
Suspension & Brakes: Telescopic forks is the updated suspension which is used in most of the motorcycle currently. And for Honda Livo, the same suspension is used in the front wheel. However, the rear suspension is five-step spring-loaded hydraulic twin shocks. Both suspensions are very good and especially the rear suspension used to provide better comfort. The red paint rear suspension is a bit sporty looks. The braking combination of Honda Livo is also good. The 240 mm hydraulic brake is used for the front wheel which is very effective to control the bike and rear brake is drum which is 130 mm.
Mileage: Honda Livo is a smart standard commuter which is just 110 cc engine and so, the mileage of the bike is as usual great. According to the different websites, the claiming average mileage of the bike is 60 km. On the highway, Livo would provide more than 65 km mileage. It is very impressive. Basically, 100 to 110 cc bikes used to provide more than 55 km mileage and in that case, Honda Livo would provide better though the price tag of the bike is a little higher.
Instrument Panel & Features: Though, complete latest features are added to the bike Honda Livo where latest BS4 technology is also added. Besides, the AHO system is also included but the instrument console of the bike is analog. There are analog speedometer, analog odometer, analog fuel gauge in the console. Besides, a low battery indicator is also added. There are also pillion footrest and pillion grabrail are added.
Colors & Price: Black, Blue, Brown, and White are four colors of Honda Livo which would available in Bangladesh now. The colors of the bike are too amazing. However, the price of the bike in Bangladesh is BDT 1,07,000.
Honda Livo Rating
The looks of Honda Livo is too good and shiny. Due to looks, it’s price is higher. The handling and control are better where disc and drum brakes are used. The bike can perfect for the amateur riders as well. However, due to top Japanese brand, it’s resale value is good. The top speed of the bike is bit lower but customer service is good. Most importantly, the fuel consuming rate is lower which can reduce cost. The bike is reliable but price range is high. So, for making it more popular, company should reduce the price of the bike.
