Hundai Tulip 80 Review
Hundai is a newborn motorcycle producing company which is originated in China and their products have started to arrived in Bangladesh through their official distributors. They have different segment bikes launched and most of them are imported to the country. There are 150cc, 125cc, 100 cc and 80 cc bikes of the company are available in Bangladesh where Tulip is a 80 cc commuter. The bike is pretty small considering the segment and 80 cc bikes are less demanded in the country as well. But still there are few companies are releasing 80 cc bikes in the market but the competitors are few in number. So, by providing good service to the customers, Hundai could dominate the market with this segment.
In Bangladesh, Chinese manufactured or Bangladeshi assembled products are not regarded best but they are thought vulnerable. So, people would not like to buy Hundai product unless in great need. It is for primary stage though but in every cases, company should provide their best to the customers and make them realise that they are comparatively good.
In the fact of Hundai Tulip 80, we must learn the details specification review before making any approach. Let’s see them below.
Design & looks: Hundai Tulip has some ordinary looks which is not so strong but if we considering with rest 80 cc bikes, it seems great. It has somewhat similar looks with products of Dayang Runner. Besides, the wheels are alloy with simple fuel tank and seating position. Bike is comparatively smaller but seat is long. It has silver color silencer pipe with pillion grabrail. The handlebar is standard and headlamp is perfect shaped. As like rest standard same segment bikes, it has also sharee guard and mudguard attached.
Engine performance: The bike Hundai Tulip consists of 78 cc engine displacement and the engine is made by following Japanese standard which is four stroke, one cylinder and air cooled. With the engine, it has good power and torque included. Bore and stroke are almost same but compression ratio is not good. Max power of the bike is 4.2 kW@8000 rpm so far.
Dimensions & seating position: Tulip is a 80 cc bike and so, it is quite small in size. It’s length is 1990 mm, width is 750 mm and height is 1060 mm. Besides, there is a good wheelbase and ground clearance. The dry weight of the bike is 88 kg but can carry 150 kg maximum load on it.
Suspension & Brakes: Front suspension of Tulip 80 would be telescopic and rear suspension is ordinary and we yet to know about the details of the suspension. There is no hydraulic disc brake used to the bike but both are drum brake which is disappointing.
Mileage: Mileage of the bike Hundai Tulip would be almost satisfying though considering the displacement, it’s mileage should be more. The reported mileage of the bike is 75 km average. On the city road it would provide 70 km mileage and on highway, mileage would be up to 80 km.
Instrument Panel & Features: Front panel of the bike of Hundai are updated but analog. There is no digital meter but analog speedometer and tachometer. There are also fuel gauge and analog odometer are added to the bike.
Colors & Price: There are only two colors of Hundai Tulip 80 is available in Bangladeshi market which are Red and Black. The current price of this little machine is BDT 85,000.
