The runner is regarded as one of the best motorcycle producing company in Bangladesh where there is a couple of more Bangladeshi motorcycle producing companies are in the market. But, Runner is most popular due to reliable products at a reasonable price. There are many models of bikes of the company that is available in the market where according to the company, they used to produce almost 500 motorcycles on a working day. And as per the statement, they used to produce 1,00,000 bikes every year. They have many different products which consist of sports, standard and scooter categories included.

Runner Knight Rider was a successful motorcycle in 150cc segment. After huge sell, now Runner introduces its 2nd version. There were some technical issues about the previous version and runner improve their RND in this 2nd edition.

Design & looks: Runner do make some major changes in this 2nd edition. The main changes are the fuel tank and headlight unit. The V1’s fuel tank has a commuter look, but this version’s gets a sporty edgy design and with a small extension kit attached. The color combination and stickers are also good. Previous headlight was slightly long but now it’s small and look decent. Runner also added a engine cowl for a sporty look. Apart from these, seating position, handlebar, exhaust, side panels and wide view mirrors are like the previous version.

Engine performance: The engine capacity and performance remain the same like the previous version. This motorcycle has a Vertical type, 4-stroke, CBF Engine, Chain transmission, 150cc engine which can produce 11.92 Bhp maximum power at 7500 rpm and 12.2 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. As a 150cc standard commuter, it’s enough for a decent performance. For the better transmission Runner used a 5-speed gearbox and wet multi-plate clutch. The top speed would be around 120 km/h.

Dimensions & seating position: The bike has a pretty long seating position where two pillions can ride. The split seat is also well-cushioned. However, the kerb weight of the bike is 143 kg respectively which is slightly weightier than the previous version . However, it can take almost 150 kg load at a time. The wheelbase is good at 1335 mm. The fuel tank has pretty enough space that can contain 16 liters. The dimension of the bike is 2025 mm length, 740 mm width and 1065 mm height.

Suspension & Brakes: It gets Telescopic in the front and swingarm mono-shock suspension in the rear. Which will provide great performance in the city ride. Cradle type chassis will provide better balance with the 143 kg kerb weight. Previous version had a drum brake in the rear wheel. But Runner install disc brakes in the both wheels. So, the braking performance would definitely improved than the previous one.  

Mileage: Mileage would not be the issue for this motorcycle. This one is a standard commuter bike, so it definitely provides more than 40 km/l average mileage. The mileage would be change according to riding and road condition.

Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument panel is just like the the previous version and it’s semi-digital. The tachometer and neutral meters are analog, but the Speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, gear indicator features are digital.

Colors & Price: There are three color are available for this motorcycle, those are matte black, matte red and white. The current market price of this bike is 1,59,000/- BDT only.
