Suzuki is one of four leading Japanese bike manufacturer which is very valuable brand in the current World nowadays. They have products in most of the countries in the World along with Bangladesh though their products are usually assembled in Japan. But recently some of their products are assembled in Bangladesh and India as well though the parts are from Japan no doubt. They are most reliable than Indian brand but price are not too higher. Though most of the times the Japanese products are out of range general people but some low segment products are available. Currently their GSX R150 is the top rated sports bike in Bangladesh which is included with high price tag indeed.

They have also number of products are available in bangladesh and now they have a newest member in their family which is Suzuki VanVan 125. The bike is low segment but it’s price is much much higher than expected. It can be called as a standard category bike but somewhat the looks are similar with Cafe Racer. Most of people of the country yet to learn about the bike. According to the news, it is already available in Bangladesh but all Suzuki showrooms yet to possess the bike. Design & looks: Suzuki VanVan 125 is an unique looking bike which is pretty classic and small in size. It has rear so wide tyres and at the first sight, it seems a ordinary bike but if you look deeply you can find the differences. It has round and classic designed headlamp. Fuel tank is so small in size and go through the seat. Seat is also not so long but seems great comfortable. Handlebar is well placed and seems the bike is very strong and even in rural and rough road, it can provide great service. It has eye catching silencer pipe with spoke wheels. The engine is naked and there is no engine guard and mudguard are located. But there is also pillion grabrail attached. Overall, it is an extraordinary looking bike in Bangladesh.

Engine performance: Suzuki VanVan is powered by 125 cc engine which consists of 8.3 kW max power with reliable rpm and 9.80 Nm@7500 rpm max torque. Besides, the engine is four stroke, SOHC and air cooled which has no kicker but only electric starting system. It’s compression ratio is 9.2:1 and clutch is wet type multi plate. Amazing it has six speed gearbox. Reported top speed of the bike is yet to disclose but would be more than 110 kmph hopefully. Engine power is not in extraordinary level but reliable.

Dimensions & seating position: Suzuki VanVan 125 is a small sized bike but that not mean it is mini. It has good length which is 2140 mm. Width of the bike is 860 mm and height is 1120 mm. Seat height is pretty less than standard but would fit for all aged people. Besides, it has good wheelbase which would help to make better speed. Fuel tank is originally small which can contain 6.5 litres of fuel. Weight is also good which is 128 kg. Seating position is comfortable but small.

Suspension & Brakes: Suspensions of the bike VanVan are great which are one of a kind. Front suspension is telescopic and coil spring and rear suspension is mon which is swingarm type. The suspension ensures proper comfort to the riders and pillions. Now come to the braking system. Front brake of the bike is hydraulic single disc and rear brake is drum. Front disc is bigger but company should use rear disc brake as well. Besides, they do not use tubeless tires in both front and rear where the rear tyre is 180/80 – 14M/C 78P and front tyre is 130/80 – 18M/C 66P.

Mileage: We yet to receive a user review of Suzuki VanVan 125 and so and do not know about the mileage of the bike properly.
