China has now become the manufacturing place of motorcycles for the Asia region. Many European, Japanese and even USA-based motorcycle companies are now manufacturing their motorcycles there. This high demand for manufacturing motorcycles in China because of the low manufacturing cost and labor. Along with the foreign companies, many Chinese brands are also producing quality and performance orient products and Zontes is one of them.

Zontes started the motorcycle business in 2003. From then, they have spread their business in Asia and also in Europe. Now they started their business in Bangladesh with the collaboration with Rasel Industrie Ltd who is also the sole distributor of Lifan motorcycle in Bangladesh. Zontes going to launch three different models and segments of motorcycle and Zontes ZT155-G1 is one of them. Apart from the design and look, the engine capacity and performance are the same for these three models.

Design and Look: We often see Cafe Racer motorcycles in Bangladesh. A very few brands imports these motorcycles but the quantity is not enough. The first thing people like about a Cafe Racer motorcycle is its unique design and appearance. Cafe Racer motorcycles design is different from other categories and you can easily differentiate it by seeing. This Zontes GT155-G1 is a new cafe racer in Bangladesh and it looks compact and gorgeous. It has all the essential features like round shape headlight unit, small but premium seat without grabrail, wide handlebar with mounted mirrors, Spoke wheels and large sculpted fuel tank. The most attractive feature of this motorcycle is its round pan shape headlight unit which gets all LED set-up with stunning parking light. Zontes also installed a crush protector to protect the motorcycle from any small range accidents.

Engine Performance: This Cafe Racer gets the same engine displacement and power out-put as Zontes ZT155-U which made this bike one of the powerful cafe racer in Bangladesh. The powertrain of this motorcycle comes from a single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, fuel injection, 149.8cc engine that can burn out 18.8 bhp maximum power at 9000 rpm and 16 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm. Though Zontes ZT155-U gets a slipper clutch but this cafe racer equipped with a regular wet multi-plate clutch and a 6-speed gearbox for better transmission.

Dimension and Seating Position: This cafe racer looks dimensionally standard and also perfect for day-to-day commuting. The seat height of this bike is 795 mm only, that’s why any heightened rider can maneuver it easily. The overall length of this bike is 1976 mm, width 869 mm, height 1112 mm and wheelbase size is 1373 mm. 128 kg of weight makes this bike lightweight and it will easy to control in heavy traffic. The seating position and riding position of ZOntes GT155-G1 is comfortable.

Suspension and Brake: The brand Zontes tried to make this bike a complete package for a biker and they didn’t compromise anything to build this bike. They installed a USD fork suspension in the front and an adjustable mono-shock suspension in the rear wheel. The braking of this bike protected by disc brakes in both wheels and a Bosch dual-channel ABS braking system. We only see a few numbers of dual-channel ABS braking systems in Bangladesh. This safety feature will help to seduce the customers. The tyre section also remains the same as Zontes ZT155-U which is 110/70-17 in the front and 130/70-17 in the rear.

Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument panel of Zontes ZT155-U looks completely different and informative. It gets an intelligent LCD screen and it contains essential features like a speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, trip meter, gear indicator, etc. You can also charge your mobile via a USB port.

Mileage: Because of the fuel injection engine we hoping the mileage of this cafe racer would be around 40 km/l. But the brand claims that it would provide up to 45 km/l mileage.

Color and Price: This bike is available in two different color variations which are Yellow and Black. This cafe racer is launch in Bangladesh and the current market price is 389,000 BDT.
