Hero Achiever 150cc Feature Review
Hero motocorp is founded in 1983 in India. This is one of the popular motorcycle brand in India and Bangladesh. Few years ago they apart from Hero Honda limited and start their journey with Hero motocorp. They are well known for their efficient commuter motorcycles at a low price.
With Achiever 150 hero decided to build a premium commuter bike. People always looking for a 150 segments bike but at a efficient mileage and this bike can provide both. This two-wheeler is affordable and easy to maintain.
Design & looks: Achiever 125 doesn’t have the eye catching and sporty look. The rearview is too skinny for a 150cc bike. The fuel tank is quite big but adjustable with its body. Chrome heat guard on exhausted will give classy look to the achiever. It gets Triangular headlamp With custom bikini shape. Auto headlamp is used on this bike and there will be no on/off switch. Instrumental panel is fully analog, consisting of two circular pods. One for the tachometer and another for speedometer.
Engine performance: This Hero Achiever powered by 149.1 cc displacement engine which can generates 8000 rpm peak power at 13.59 PS and 12.80 Nm @ 5000 rpm maximum torque. It has 5 speed gearbox for better transmission. Achiever 150 is now BS-4 tractable and it can hit 0-60 km in just 5.95 seconds and 0-100 in 17.45 seconds. In high speed, the bike starting to vibrates. This bike also has i3s technology which will help in easy start.
Dimensions & seating position: Seating position is quite comfortable. The handlebar is little bit high than sports bike. Achiever 125 has a standard height of 1086 mm, width 763 mm, length 2060 mm. The seat height of this bike is 800 mm and 160mm ground clearance. Alloy wheels are used in this bike. Tubeless tyres are used in this bike where front size is 100/80-18 and rear is 100/80 -18.
Suspension & Brakes: Telescopic Hydraulic shock Absorbers is used for the front end and Swing Arm with adjustable Shock Absorber for the rear . Tubular diamond chassis is used in this two wheeler. It will provides good balance and comfort. Single disc is for front brake and Drum brake in rear. It will provide safety and better control in riding. According to the record, it can get it’s top speed 105.16 km/h.
Mileage: This new version of Achiever has a handsome mileage close to 55 km/L. But it would give more mileage on highway of 61 km/L. This bike has carburetor system and can give a better efficiency like a commuter bike.
Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument panel of Hero Achiever 150cc is completely rationalize with analog meters along with analog tachometer, trip meter, odometer, low fuel warning.
