Indian number 1 motorcycle manufacturing company Bajaj has become popular in Bangladesh as well where they used to launch different category bikes in the country by the distributor of Bajaj in Bangladesh named Uttara Motors. There are a number of popular models of Bajaj is currently available in Bangladeshi local market but among them, one of the two top popular series is Bajaj Discover. Bajaj revealed their Discover series in Bangladesh with 135 and 125 cc motorcycles but later they revealed 100 cc Discover according to the demand of Bangladeshi people. Since the releasing, it went to the top sold list due to reasonable price, reliability, better fuel efficiency, and some other reasons.

However, Bajaj Discover 100 cc is almost alike with rest Discover series and the company used the same technology to build it but it is just the revised version of the Bajaj Discover. Among all available 100 cc bikes in Bangladesh, Discover 100 is one of the best according to performance. Design & looks: It is for sure that, Discover 100 is completely made by following the standard bike category which looks are completely alike with the previous series of Discover 125 and 135. But just the handlebar is a bit small than them. Nicely standard shaped fuel tank with matching seat. Due to the complete standard looks, the bike is fit for any aged riders. Besides, it’s headlight is well figured and compatible with the body design.

Engine performance: Bajaj used the most powerful DTSi engine to build it which is the same technology of Pulsar just revised. This standard category motorcycle consists of 94.38 cc engine which can run with 8 Bhp @ 7500 rpm maximum power along with 7.85 maximum torque. The bike can run more than 90 km per hour top speed though some riders have claimed that it reached 95 km per hour with this 100 cc machine. The bike is air-cooled, single-cylinder with a four-stroke engine. Its bore is less than stroke where the bore is 47 mm and stroke is 54 mm. DCDI ignition system along with kick starter makes this bike a little bit old.

Dimensions & seating position: Due to the seating position, the bike seems complete standard looks at first glance. It’s length 2040 mm, width 760 mm and height is 1087 mm which is very comfortable to ride by all riders though most users of this bike are bit old. But also the young generation also often takes it due to the reasonable price. The fuel tank is a bit small which can contain just 8 liters but the seating position has enough space to ride with two pillions.

Suspension & Brakes: Suspension and brake of this machine are as usual normal, not a bit high. The company did not use any disc brake in the front wheel but both brakes are drum which is old fashioned. But, it’s suspensions are well and comfortable where the front wheel has telescopic and the rear wheel has nitrox suspension.

Mileage: The mileage of the bike is completely extraordinary. It can provide more than 70 km mileage average which is also a significant rate. Even on the highway, it can provide almost 75 km mileage if the bike is well-tuned and maintaining an average speed. Peoples of Bangladesh used to take it for better mileage.

Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument panel of this machine is not significantly updated which consists of an analog speedometer and a tachometer. Besides, there is also a turn lamp switch as well. The battery of the motorcycle is very good with consists of 12V, 5Ah and the tail light is almost LED type.
