Bajaj Discover 125 Overall Review
Bajaj Discover 125 is regarded as one of the best motorcycles in the 125 cc segment which was first launched in Bangladesh in 2004. Since then, it has dominated the market. In 2017, Bajaj has launched the revised version of this most popular machine which is more powerful than ever and consists of BS4 technology. In the latest edition of Discover 125, the company added all the updated features in it and the customers should buy it for some reasons which are the most affordable price, a trusted and established brand, enough service centers just near the home, complete standard looks, high mileage, and low maintenance cost and resale value, etc.
However, after relaunching the Discover 125 BS4, it is also going to make new records for best-selling motorcycles in Bangladesh. Here we provide the complete details of Bajaj Discover 125 below which will help people to select it.
Design & looks: Bajaj has yet to change the design of Discover 125 since the beginning when it was first released. They just upgraded the bike which gives it a modern look. The new model of 125 motorcycles is almost alike to its little sibling Discover 100. This is a naked edition standard bike with that tinted visor restyled. Besides, the twin pilot lamps’ headlight makes the face of the bike much more attractive. Though Discover 100 and new Discover 125 models are almost the same Bajaj has placed a small hydraulic disc brake in the front wheel of the Discover 125 which makes it different from the 100 cc bike it has also remained XCD 135.
Engine performance: Discover 125 is powered by the latest four-stroke technology with a mono cylinder 124.66 cc engine. Due to the air cooling system, the engine can produce 11 Bhp @ 8000 rpm maximum power with 10.8 Nm @ 5500 rpm maximum torque. With a five-speed gearbox, the bike can generate more than 100 km per hour speed which is so handsome. The bore of the bike is greater which is 57 mm and the stroke is 48.8 mm.
Dimensions & seating position: The overall dimension of the machine is standard level with 2035 mm length, 760 mm width, and 1087 mm height. The ground clearance is also standard level which will not get the riders any trouble with obstacles on the road. The seat height is 800 mm which is pretty enough for riders and pillion. There is enough space to ride with two pillion and due to this reason, most family persons would like to buy the Discover series motorcycles. The total weight of the bike is 120.5 kg which has eight liters capacity type fuel tanks. Weight is almost perfect and riders would face no problem or vibration at top speed. Excluding the eight liters fuel capacity, riders can reserve 1.5-liter fuel also which will give them support in any kind of emergency moment.
Suspension & Brakes: Nitrox gas-charged suspension is used for the rear wheel which would provide comfort to the riders and pillions on rural roads. For the front wheel standard telescopic suspension is used. However, the bike is available in two categories and the price would depend on it. In one version, there is no disc brake used for any wheel only but the drum but in 2nd version, there is a hydraulic brake used for the front part. In both cases, the ride can give you the best security on the road at any speed. Those who are familiar with disc brakes can choose the second version whose price is a bit higher.
Mileage: According to the news, the average mileage of Discover 125 is almost 62 km but we have received the information of some users of the bike where they stated that it can provide more than 60 km mileage average which would increase to 65 km on the highway and almost 55 km on the city road. The mileage of the bike is great and suitable for those who used to ride long regularly and need a powerful engine with good mileage.
Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument panel of this bike is updated but all are analog designed. There are analog speedometers and odometers but no tachometer and no trip meter as well. There is also an analog fuel gauge with electric start system is included. Besides, some other indicators are also seen in the instrument panel.
Colors & Price: Currently two new colors are available for the new Discover 125 motorcycle which are Ebony Black with Deep Red Graphics and Ebony Black with Blue Graphics. The current Price of Bajaj Discover 125 is 1,60,500/- BDT.

Though Bajaj Discover is one of the most selling bike in Bangladesh but I don’t like this motorcycle because of poor braking system. Balance of this bike in high speed is very bad.
