Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 Overall Review
Traditionally, lower-segment commuter bikes were performance and fuel-efficiency oriented, motorcycle companies did not emphasize looks and design. In the last couple of years, commuter bikes have been developing with sporty and aggressive design. KTM added fuel to the fire by launching KTM RC 125 sports bikes which created hype in the entire industry. Indian motorcycle brand Bajaj has an age-old legacy and fame all over the world, Pulsar is the most prominent model of this brand which entered into market back in 2001. Time and again, Pulsar has been brought to us several times with various upgrades. Pulsar NS 160 is one of the catchy versions of the Pulsar lineup, recently this model has been re-designed as Pulsar NS 125, a sports commuter segment. Pulsar NS 125 comes with all the graphics and finishing of Pulsar NS 60 not in configurational aspects. In the bare eye, none can separate Pulsar NS 125 from Pulsar NS 160, to keep this bike in affordable price range Bajaj didn’t incorporate the latest features rather made it more efficient to produce a sporty and agile feel. Probably, Bajaj NS 125 will defate KTC RC 125, TVS Raider, Hero Xtreme and others top-notch commuter motorcycles in the motorcycle industry. On the other hand, Pulsar NS 125 will draw the attention of the Bajaj Discover riders.
Engine Performance: Pulsar NS 125 featured a 124.45 cc 4-Stroke, SOHC 4-Valve, Air Cooled, BSVI Compliant DTS-i Ei Engine mated with 5-speed gearbox. Moreover, Pulsar NS 125 comes in a premium body frame found in Pulsar NS 160 model. Tough Pulsar NS 125 has incorporated a sporty look, it houses 125 cc commuter segment engine so you don’t expect nake sports bike performance but it’s more than enough to provide top-notch performance in the commuter segment.
Looks & Design: It doesn’t make any sense to describe Pulsar NS 125 appearance whereas is comes with all the graphics and designs of Pulsar NS 160. Pulsar NS 125 features as a naked sports bike, its cutting-edge body shape and muscular fuel tank remind you any high-end naked sports bike. The wolf-inspired headlamp, agile body structure and split seat enhance its sporty vibe. Though NS 125 gets all the apparel components of NS 160 like fuel tank, handlebar, head and tail, bere engine and so on, it has intrinsic painting branding. Ten to one, Pulsar NS 125 is the pioneer of commuter motorcycles that carry full phase sporty feel.
Dimension and seating position: Pulsar NS 125 gets the impressive of body dimension of a naked sports bike. Maybe its seating position is higher than other commuter bikes but riders of all heights (minimum 5 feet 5 inches) can comfortably ride with this bike. Pulsar NS 125 has under-belly exhaust but it doesn’t get any issue due to good ground clearance of 179 mm. Its length is 2012 mm, width is 810 mm and height is 1078, the standard body dimension ensures perfect airflow and comfortable riding experiences. It huge fuel tank contains a maximum 12 L of fuel to inspire you to seamless long drives. Pulsar NS 125 looks muscular but it remains light, over the kerb weight is about 144 kg.

In the braking segment, Pulsar NS 125 paired with 240 mm dia disc in front and 130 mm drum in rear. Bajaj skipped ABS braking system but employed CBS (Combined Braking System) which is enough for more stable and confident braking as a lower cc bike.
Mileage: Pulsar NS 125 provides a satisfactory mileage of approximately 54 km/h, but sometimes it may fluctuate because of several factors like road conditions, fuel authenticity and others.
Price and Color: Pulsar NS 125 introductory price is 189,750/- in Bangladesh which may be unusual for a commuter bike, considering its features and designs its price may be considered. Pulsar NS 125 comes in four color schemes they are Fiery Orange, Burnt Red, Beach Blue & Pewter Grey.
