Driving License Process in Bangladesh
In Bangladesh, BRTA issues a driving license. However, there are some criteria to apply and obtain it. There are 2-types of D.L. based on the usage. Each type has a different least-age criterion. What is the difference between professional and nonprofessional driving license?

With this type of license, one neither can drive a vehicle for any company, institution, etc for any professional reason nor can take any money or fare from anyone. On the other hand, the professional license allows you to drive a specific sort of vehicle professionally beyond personal usage. How to Apply for a Bike License in Bangladesh?
Apart from those mentioned age, for any sort of driving license in BD, an applicant must pass class 8. They need to be physically and mentally fit. The process begins with a learner’s driving license.
Learner’s Driving License
Apply for the learners online through bsp.brta.gov.bd. You need to submit all required documents when you apply. The papers required are:
- A filled-out online application form.
- Applicant’s pic with 300*300 pixels and a maximum size of 150 kb.
- Medical certificate certified by a registered doctor. (Max size 600 kb)
- Scanned copy of the national ID card. (Max size 600 kb)
- Scanned copy of the utility bill. If the current address and the NID-mentioned address both differ then you must submit the utility bill with the current address. (Max size 600 kb).
- If the applicant has any other existent driving license then its copy. (Max size 600 kb).
- Fees, determined by the BRTA.
You can complete this process online and also download and print the issued copy of the learner’s. Then the applicant must learn within restricted areas and roads under a guide for 2-3 months. Then on the mentioned date and place, he will need to take part in the test. He must carry the learner’s card while attending the exam.
