Hero Karizma XMR Feature Review
Hero Karizma is a well-sorted full-faired sports bike by the world-leading motorcycle brand Hero MotoCrop, the new Karizma offers a bunch of the latest features for the very first time in the segment. Though the Karizma XMR is developed from its previous version, Hero incorporates the latest technology and equipment intending to rival Pulsar N250, Suzuki Gixxer SF, Honda CBR, Yamaha R15, etc. The premium segment Hero Karizma XMR is an established legacy of Hero. New-generation Karizma XMR employs a 210 cc Single Cylinder Liquid Cooled, 4V DOHC powerful engine that mated with 6-speed constant mash geat box and wet type spil & assist clutch collectively produces maximum power and torque. Hero MotoCrop claims that the refined engine can make 0-60 kmph sprint within 3.8 seconds only which is surprising.
Hero Karizma XMR has equipped with segment-first LCD console cluster displays, turn navigation, intelligent illumination D class LED headlamp is also first in the segment. Hero Karizma XMR also comes with anti-friction bush telescopic suspension in front and 6-step adjustable gas-charged mono-shock suspension in the rear, in braking segment it has 300 mm dia petal disc in front and 200 mm dia petal disc in rear obviously with duel channel ABS (Anti Lock Braking System) to enhance braking confidence and ensure balanced brake. After a long 20 years Hero Karizma XRM has come to remind the young rider the sprit of Karizma once again.
Looks & Design: Hero Karizma XMR comes with very aggressive style looks with catchy color tone and graphics. The iconic Karizma is inspired is previous version which was launched in 2003, the new Karizma showcases cutting-edge design of bi-functional LED headlamps with H shape outer, the extended visor looks straighter than other sports bikes. Its class-D LED projector headlamp truns the face to aggressive and aesthetic outlook. The bulky fuel tank is coated with dual color graphics and XMR branding kits, dual color front portion enhances its potentiality. In rear portion Karizma XMR has incorporated split seats in ergonomic measures, the pillion grab rails and dynamic taillamp enhance its sporty vibe.
Engine Performance: Hero Karizma XMR is powered by 210 cc Single Cylinder Liquid Cooled, 4V DOHC engine meets BS6 standers, this refine engine delivers 25.5 PS @9250 rpm of maximum power and 20.4 Nm @7250 rpm of maximum torque. Hero adopted fuel inject technology for the cooling system of this speedy engine. This superpower engine is mated with 6-speed constant mash geat box and wet type spil & assist clutch, meanwhile, Hero uses anti-friction bush telescopic suspension in front and 6-step adjustable gas-charged mono-shock suspension in the rear. The overall configuration enhances engine capability and result in more thrilling on the road.
Dimension and Seating Position: Hero Karizma XMR gets an appropriate structural dimension and dual seaters for an exciting riding experience. The ergonomic seating and riding position lead to comfortable and weariless ride. Being a full-faired sports bike its rider seat is lower than the pillion one, the curved handlebar adds sporty vibe. The split pillion seat is accompanied by integrated grab rails and upper foot pegs. Its 160 mm ground clearance doesn’t creat any obstacle even on bumpy roads, 2068 mm of length, 760 mm of width and 110 mm height illustrating an unreal beast-like structure of Hero Karizma XMR. The bike houses a vast 11 L capacity fuel tank which provides a seamless long ride without frequent re-fueling. Although XMR comes with a bulky shape but its 810 mm seat height and 163.5 kg kerb weight are pretty convenient for the riders upon 5.5 inches.
Suspension & Brake: Hero Karizma XMR is decorated with an 37 mm dia anti-friction bush telescopic froks suspension in front and pre-loaded 6-step adjustable mono-shock suspension in rear. The suspension efficiently absorbs road disturbance to provide smooth and stable riding. Being a modern sports bike Hero Karizma XMR features dual-channel ABS braking with 300 mm dia petal disc in front and 200 mm dia petal disc in rear, Karizma has both alloy wheels and tubeless tires.
Mileage: Always mileage is a crucial issue for motorcycles but in case of sports bikes mileage is a minor aspect. Hero’s motorcycles are well-reputed for fuel efficiency, Hero Kazima XMR may reach upto 45 kmpl average mileage. This figure is not static, sometimes it depends on road conditions, fuel authenticity, and other circumstances.
Electrical & Instrumental Panel: Hero Karizma XMR is equipped with LCD instrumental cluster features turn-by-turn navigation which is first in the segment. It has USB slot just right to the power key ejector slot, UBS port aids to power up your mobile phone or other digital devices. For the first time, Hero employs intellengent illumination with a class-D LED projector headlamp.
