Niloy Motors is the sole distributor and importer of Hero motocorp in Bangladesh. But they also grab a large amount of share in the market. A couple of years ago, they launched Hero Splendor iSmart. It has a sporty look appearance that will help to gain a huge number of the buyer.

Though it’s a 100cc commuter bike it has a sporty look, quick acceleration, comfortable handlebar and mostly a good mileage. People always want to buy sports looking bike but at high mileage. And this is the bike which can execute their demand.

Design & looks: This Hero iSmart gets an aerodynamic front cowl, stylish rear grab rail along with a luxurious and comfortable seat texture. This bike also has a matte black exhaust silencer which is perfect for its design. Its fuel tank is perfectly adjusted with the body. LED tail lamp, unique looking wheels, the stunning headlight can attract anyone. the fairing makes it more stylish and attractive. The instrumental panel is analog. But it has all the essential features on it. It’s true that the new splendor iSmart does look more premium than the regular splendor. 

Engine performance: Hero Splendor iSmart has a 97 cc new generation displacement, four-stroke, air-cooled engine which can deliver 8.2 bhp @ 8,000 rpm maximum power and 8.05 Nm @ 5,000 rpm maximum torque. Though it’s not a sports bike with its powerful engine, it has a good acceleration rate. The engine will come mated to a four-speed transmission. This bike also has the i3s technology to easy start in heavy traffic. This bike is ideal for city ride but on the highway, it can cruise at 60-80 km/h. At the high speed, the engine gets some vibration.

Dimensions & seating position: Seating position is quite comfortable. The handlebar is a little bit high than a sports bike. Splendor iSmart has a standard height of 1095 mm, width 770 mm, length 1965 mm. The seat height of this bike is 785 mm and 160 mm ground clearance. Alloy wheels are used in this bike and wheel size is 1235 mm. Tube tyres are used in this bike where the font size is 2.75 x 18 – 4 PR and rear is 2.75 x 18 – 6 PR.

Suspension & Brakes: Telescopic Hydraulic shock Absorbers are used for the front end and Swing Arm with Adjustable Hydraulic Shock Absorbers for the rear. Tubular Double Cradle Frame Type chassis is used in this two-wheeler. It will provide good balance and comfort. 130 mm Drum brake is for front and 110 mm drum brake in the rear. It will provide safety and better control of riding. According to the record, it can get it’s top speed 87 km/h.

Mileage: This version of Hero Splendor iSmart has a handsome mileage close to 80 km/L. But it would give more mileage on the highway of 85 km/L. This bike has a carburetor system and can give better efficiency.

Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument panel of Hero Splendor iSmart is semi-digital. The tachometer and fuel gauge is analog but other features like odometer, trip meter, low fuel warning are digital.  

Colors & Price: The market price of Hero Splendor iSmart is BDT 100,490 according to the latest update. It has three colors available which are sports red, excellent blue, silver and black.
