Where Can I Pay My BRTA Tax Token?

The first installment of the tax token is issued by BRTA during the registration of your bike. However, the user needs to renew it after a couple of years. Previously, one had to pay it through the banks only. But at the moment the way is too easy for the users. You can pay the tax token fee right from your home using a Bkash, Nagad, or Visa Card.

How to Pay Tax Token Online

How to Renew Motorcycle Tax Token in Bangladesh?

The renewal of the motorcycle tax token is an easy task for the users in BD. You can simply do it right from your place. One neither need to go to the BRTA office nor require to show any papers or documents. In fact, even if the token expired a few months or years ago, one can still complete the task quite comfortably without any hassle.

  • From your mobile or computer go to a browser. Type www.bsp.brta.gov.bd.
  • If you already haven’t registered, click on register and provide your personal details including NID number, date of birth, mobile number, etc.
  • After having it done click on log in.
  • Attach your bike/vehicle providing info about it.
  • Then you can go to the home option and yet again click vehicle information and you can check all the info about your bike including registration, fitness, road permit, tax token, etc. You can see the expiration date of the tax token, the status is in red if the date has already expired or has just a few days to a couple of months left.
  • In the next process, click on the renewal option and you can see the fees required for it.
  • Then click on the pay option and provide your mobile number in the payment confirmation box.
  • Then select the option through which you wanna pay. Most users generally do it through either bKash or Nagad.

How to Pay Bike Tax by BKash?

As you click the option “bKash” to pay the fee and have your number already provided, you will receive an OTP. Then you need to place the OTP and your bKash password. Your fee will be deducted in that process and you will receive a confirmation message right on your phone. Before the payment, they will ask for your delivery address as well. Because will deliver the tax token to your own address and hence you won’t need to go to the BRTA office or anywhere.

You can also download the money receipt by clicking the option there. Bkash generally delivers the tax token to your address within 5-7 working days. Bkash only charges a small additional fee apart from your tax token fee & FAF fee. The additional charge is only 34 taka normally. One can also choose Nagad to pay the tax token fee and the process will be very same.
