How Much is the BD Driving License Renewal Fee?
Before submitting your papers and the filled-up form, you must pay the DL renewal fees properly. The fee varies for 2 types. The professional license (5-year) renewal requires 2487 taka. Meanwhile, the 10-year-length amateur license renewal charges 4212 Taka. No extra fine is applicable if you submit for renewal within 15 days from your date of previous license expiry. However, if the expiration crosses 15 days, the user needs to pay an additional fine of 518 taka for each year.
For example, if your DL expired on May 14, 2024, then you can apply with all required documents within May 29, 2024, without any fine. From May 30 onwards, you need to pay an extra 518 taka. In case, you haven’t applied for it even within May 2025, the next time you apply, you need to pay 1036 taka as fine.
