Mahindra Gusto 125 Feature Review
Mahindra Two Wheeler LTD is one of the leading motorcycle brands in India. This company is established in 1945 as a steel trading company. But a couple of years later in 1947, they started to manufacture a vehicle. Now they are producing motorcycles and scooters. Their two-wheelers are featured with advanced technology but at a minimum price range.
The demand for scooter is increasing day by day. Because of comfort and economical. Currently, in Bangladesh, the number of female riders is growing up and scooters are their first priority. mahindra recently launched their Mahindra gusto 125 the elder siblings of Gusto 110. This bike is built on the same frame as the gusto 110 but gets a newly developed engine and other feature upgrades.
Design & looks: Gusto 125 looks familiar to the previous 110 version, barring the dual-tone paint and some sticking. Good paint finish, brushed alloy wheels and chrome bar end look nice. LED tail lamp, unique looking wheels, stunning headlight gives it a classic look. The instrumental panel is fully analog and it has all the essential features on it. One big stair height-adjustable seat is added on and It’s comfortable for rider and pillion both. Engine cowls design looks dynamic and sharp. This scooter has large storage under the seat. The exhaust looks amazing with its heat protection muffler and can boost the engine’s power.
Engine performance: This two-wheeler scooter has a 124.6 cc new generation displacement, four-stroke, air-cooled, MCDi- technology engine that will bump up the performance and can deliver 8.5 bhp @ 7000 rpm maximum power and 10 Nm @ 5500 rpm maximum torque. It can deliver a good acceleration rate and the engine is mated with a CVT automatic gearbox for better transmission. It can reach the top speed of 85 km/h.
Dimensions & seating position: Height adjustable seating position is quite comfortable. The handlebar is adjusted with its body and it’s smooth and easy to control. This scooter has a standard height of 1,188 mm, Width 711 mm and Length 1,825 mm. It also has a good ground clearance of 165 mm and seat height is 770 mm. Alloy wheels are used in this scooter and wheel size is 1,275 mm. Tubeless tyres are used in both front and rear wheels. where the front size is 90/90-12 and the rear is 90/90-12. The kerb weight of this scooter is 123 kg.
Suspension & Brakes: Telescopic with Air Spring suspension is used for the front end and Coil Type, Hydraulic suspension for the rear. Underbone Steel Type Tubular chassis is used in this scooter. It will provide good balance and comfort. The stopping power comes from 130 mm drum brakes for both wheels. A front disc brake-equipped version is said to be incoming soon. It will provide safety and better control of riding. According to the record, it can get it’s top speed 85 km/h.
Mileage: This version of Mahindra Gusto 125 has a handsome average mileage close to 50 km/L. But it would give more mileage on the highway of 55 km/L. This scooter has a carburetor system and can give better efficiency.
Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument panel of Mahindra Gusto 125 is fully analog. The tachometer is analog but other features like odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, low oil indicator are also analog.
Colors & Price: The market price of Mahindra Gusto 125 is BDT 1,46,500 according to the latest update. It has four colors available which are Orange Rush, Monarch Black, Bolt White, and Regal Red.
