Key Changes in MotoGP 2025 Teams and Riders

  • Yamaha will manufacture for Prima Pramac Racing after the team chose the Japanese brand to replace Ducati. The new deal will expire no before 7 years.
  • Red Bull KTM Tech3 will be the new naming banner for Red Bull GasGas Tech3. The team riders will use factory-spec bikes as well.
  • After a massive 3-decade-long spell Repsol is finally done with Honda Racing Corporation.

These were the key team changes and now take a look at some crucial rider changes for the forthcoming edition.

  • Aleix Espargaro called time on his riding career right after the 2024 Catalan Grand Prix.
  • Maverick Viñales as well as Enea Bastianini replaced Pedro Acosta and Augusto Fernández and would ride for Red Bull KTM Tech3.
  • Marco Bezzecchi fills the vacant place created by the departure of Maverick Viñales. So, he will be the riding partner of Jorge Martín for Aprilia Racing.
  • Gresini Racing Team welcomed Fermín Aldeguer who comes in place of Marc Márquez who left for the factory Ducati.
  • Jack Miller is all set to ride with Miguel Oliveira in 2025. So, Oliveira and Miller will ride for the Prima Pramac Racing team.
  • Meanwhile, Pedro Acosta replaces Jack Miller as he joins the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team.

Moreover, Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins will be partnering each other at the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team. Honda Racing has Joan Mir and Luca Marini in its lineup. Apart from this, Fabio Di Giannantonio ties with compatriot Franco Morbidelli to feature for the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team. Raúl Fernández & Ai Ogura will battle together for Aprilia’s Trackhouse Racing. Last but not least, popular Spaniard rider Marc Marquez will be in the cockpit of the Desmosedici GP25 speeding for the Ducati Lenovo Team.
