Biking is immensely popular in Bangladesh. Although there has been a very rare cc limit enforced in this country, it still can’t take the love off from the enthusiasts here. Previously 165cc bike limit has been increased up to 350 cc which is still way lower than most other countries. People are so passionate about motorcycles in BD. Despite having a restricted cc limit, there are plenty of motorcycle models and types available here. How Many Types of Motorcycles are there?

The types of motorcycles we generally see are in the double digits. It easily crosses the mark of 10. There are possibly around 13-15 types of bikes although many can suggest around 7-8 major types. Let’s find out the types of bikes we see.

Sports Bike: These sorts of bikes prioritize speed and are more aerodynamic in nature. They feature an aggressive appearance but are generally lightweight. Designed and optimized for speed, acceleration, braking, and cornering.

Moped: They are a type of small motorcycle that looks similar to a scooter. To drive this sort of bike, a strict license is not mandatory,

Electric Bike: They are plug-in electric vehicles where the power system comes from a rechargeable battery.
