He believes Suzuki will join MotoGP One-Day in the future. However, he couldn’t tell exactly when the Japanese brand would make its return. Why Did Suzuki Quit MotoGP?

Another interesting & important question. Well, the brand themselves have clarified a few causes when they said temporary goodbye. The Hamamatsu-based company revealed that their economic situation forced them to stay away from the racing world. They were also concerned about the changes the automotive world has been facing and considered they need to concentrate more carefully to cope with those changes. Hence, they realized that the costs they were spending on racing-related events would be utilized along with its full human resources in developing new technologies.

Has Suzuki ever Won MotoGP?

Yes, Suzuki has won the MotoGP Teams’ Championship for the first time in 2020. Spanish rider Joan Mir grabbed the Rider’s Title. Some other riders had previously clinched the Rider’s Title representing Suzuki. Barry Sheene was the first ever to do so for Suzuki. The former British racer won back-to-back 500cc class race seasons in 1976 and 1977. Former American rider Kevin Schwantz won the season in 1993. Meanwhile, Kenny Roberts Jr. won the Championship in 2000.
