List of Motorcycles having ABS in Bangladesh 2022

An anti-lock braking system (ABS) is using by all over the world for safety during brakes. Now motorcycle brands are starting to launching ABS bikes in Bangladesh. ABS is a safe and essential feature for braking. It’s not only just reduces tyre skidding but also minimizes the braking distance and it’s effective in sudden braking.

It prevents locking the wheels during brake and protects the wheel from skidding. This braking system using by all over the world for a long time. For off-road like Bangladesh, it’s important to add ABS features to bikes. But we can find a few ABS featured bike in Bangladesh.

Yamaha R15 V3: This bike is regarded as the most premium full-faired sports bike in Bangladesh. This machine has it all such as Look, design, aggressive appearance, powerful Bluecore engine performance. It has two variations available in Bangladesh, one is Indian and another one is Indonesian. The Indonesian edition costs slightly higher than the Indian version, but the Indian edition is equipped with a dual-channel ABS braking system.

Honda CB150R Exmotion: This bike didn’t launch by Honda in the Bangladesh market. It’s coming through some importers in Bangladesh. This two-wheeler is well known for its dashing look and powerful 145cc liquid-cooled engine. Its fuel method PGM-Fi has integrated with advanced braking system ABS. Suzuki Intruder 150: The design of This motorcycle is much similar to the bigger intruder M1800R with bulky front bodywork. This bike is generated by a 154.9 ccs air-cooled powerful engine. The same engine used in the Suzuki Gixxer series but it’s tuned differently for this bike. The real sprocket is slightly bigger and it will help in low-end performance. This cruiser is the first motorcycle in Bangladesh to have a single-channel ABS. Now this one has Carburetor and Fuel Injection both editions.

Yamaha NMAX 155 ABS: Yamaha NMAX 155 is the new sibling of the Yamaha family. This is one of the coolest and sporty scooters so far. Its look, design, suspensions, acceleration, engine, braking system all can be compared with any sports featured motorcycle. Its engine has been developed by using Yamaha’s advanced blue-core technology. This 155cc bike can generate 14.8 BHP Max power and 13.5 NM Torque. Recently ACI motors limited launched some of those scooters in Bangladesh. Let’s see some key specifications of this scooter.

Yamaha MT-15: This one is the naked sports version of Yamaha R15 V3. It gets the same engine, exhaust, tyres as the R15 V3. The main attraction of this bike is its headlight unit which makes it easily noticeable. Though it’s the naked version of R15 V3 but it is equipped with a single-channel ABS braking system. This bike gets the same engine performance as the Yamaha R15 V3 along with exhaust, frame, tyres etc features.

Yamaha FZs V3: The most popular and best-selling motorcycle series of the Japanese brand Yamaha in Bangladesh is FZ and FZS. FZ was the first motorcycle series in Bangladesh that was equipped with a fuel injection engine. After a huge success of FZs and FZs V2, they had launched the 3rd edition of this series in 2019. This product was an instant hit for its outstanding look, Fuel Injection engine, single-channel ABS, and refreshed bulky look.

Suzuki GSXR-150 (2020): Rankon Motorbikes Ltd the sole distributor of Suzuki motorcycles in Bangladesh launched the updated version of Suzuki GSXR 150 in Bangladesh at the end of 2020. This new edition gets all-new color variations and graphics along with a dual-channel ABS braking system. This version was launched in the honor of Suzuki’s 100 years anniversary. Apart from the graphics and dual-channel ABS, the engine performance and other features remain the same as the previous one.

Suzuki Gixxer SF (2020): Suzuki launched the most awaited motorcycle Suzuki Gixxer SF (2020) in the middle of 2020. This bike looks completely different than the previous version and hardly recognizable. This bike gets all-new cosmetic and graphics, curve and edgy design, all LED light set-up, fuel injection engine, single-channel ABS braking system, sporty split seats and clip-on handlebar. Though the engine power is reduced for the eco engine it’s more comfortable and stylish than the previous version.

Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 FI ABS: Now all motorcycle companies launching their premium segment motorcycles with ABS braking systems and to complete this segment, Bajaj launched their Pulsar NS 160 with a fuel injection engine with an ABS braking system. This motorcycle has already created a huge fan base for its outstanding edgy look, comfortable seating and riding position, performance orient engine, and mostly suspension set-ups.

Hero Thriller 160R: After a very long time, the Indian motorcycle brand Hero launched Hero Thriller 160R in the market. This bike was launched in India with the name Hero Xtreme 160R. It launched with some advanced features like fuel injection engine, inverted LCD instrument panel, single-channel ABS braking system, Roboface headlight unit and many more essential features. Hero claims that this bike can reach 0-60 km/h in just 4.7 seconds. It’s going to be the competitor of Pulsar NS 160, Honda CB Hornet 160R, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.

Kawasaki Ninja 125: After 25 years Kawasaki launched the entry-level sports bike Ninja 125. This one is the lowest segment Ninja motorcycle from the popular Ninja series and called baby ninja. This bike was introduced at the beginning of 2020. It is the competitor of KTM RC 125, Aprilia RS4 125.

Lifan KPT 150: Lifan becomes one of the prominent and trustworthy Chinese motorcycle brand in Bangladesh and Rasel Industry is their sole distributor. Recently, they have launched a dual-channel ABS version of this dual-purpose bike. For those who like to travel and long tours, Lifan KPT 150 is the perfect bike for them. The design of Lifan KPT 150 is completely new which can be described as an adventure bike. It has the completely latest model headlamp with an aggressive fuel tank.
