Bajaj Platina 110 H Overall Review
Bajaj Auto going to launch a new model bike in this new year is the company’s best entry level commuter bike the Platina. This populer commuter motorcycle gets a new update variant called Platina 110 CBS. 110 cc large engine is borrowed from Discover 110 and also have the Combined braking System (CBS).
Bajaj Platina 110 CBS is perfect for those who rides 80-90 km per day. Bajaj claims that this will be the best 110cc commuter bike in Bangladesh for its better mileage and comfort riding. Bajaj launched Platina 110 CBS with some significant changes than previous version of Platina 100. So lets find out what the changes in Platina 110 CBS over Platina 100.
Design & looks: The all new Bajaj Platina 110 CBS gets the same design language from its previous version 102 cc Platina 100 ES. New decal design, addition of a fuel gauge and flexible side indicator added. Individual LED daytime running lamp (DRL) is added in its feature. But the fuel tank and side body cowl is remains the same as previous Platina 100. Utilitarian black steel grab rail added and the swift tail lamp is replaced by basic tail lamp. But the kerb weight is little bit higher than previous one. This Platina 110 CBS is made for rural areas so, design is not a great issue.
Engine performance: This bike didn’t gets updates in powertrain. New Platina 110 CBS still have the same air-cooled, single cylinder, 115 cc exhausTEC engine which was used in bajaj Discover 110. This powerful engine can churns out 8.6 Bhp @ 7000 rpm peak power and 9.81 Nm @ 5000 rpm maximum torque. It has a 4 Speed Constant Mesh gear box mated with the engine for better transmission. Top speed of this bike is almost 90 km/h.
Dimensions & seating position: Platina 110 comes out with the same dimension like previous version. The seat height of this bike is 807 mm and 200 mm ground clearance. Tubular, Semi double cradle chassis is use for the better riding comfort. Spoke alloy wheels are used in this bike. where front size is 80/100-17 and rear is 80/100-17. for the increase of comfort, Bajaj used one big roomed long padded seat. SNS (spring in spring suspension) help even in off road condition.
Suspension & Brakes: Telescopic Fork Type,135 mm Travel suspension is used for the front end and SOS, 110 mm with Nitrox gas canister absorber for the rear . This bike gets Tubular, Semi double cradle Frame chassis. It will provides good balance and comfort. 130 Drum brake is used in front and 110 Drum With CBS in rear wheels for reduce the price.
Mileage: There will be no doubt about its mileage. This two-wheeler delivers the mileage close to 80 km/L. In highway, it will provides almost 85 km/L. This bike has fuel carburetor system and can give a better efficiency.
Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument cluster of Bajaj Platina 110 is fully analogue. It contained with analog meters along with an analog tachometer, trip meter, odometer, low fuel warning.
Colors & Price: The expected market price of Bajaj Platina 110 H is BDT 140,000 according to the latest update. It has three colors available which are Cocktail wine Red, Ebony black with grey decals and Ebony black with blue decals.
