DeshiBiker is a prominent motorcycle portal and the largest biker community in Bangladesh. It has been organizing exciting events since the beginning. DeshiBiker launched Outrider, Let’s Do Biking, and Tea Together and completed the TT Ride with 53 riders. At entering of the new year DeshiBiker announced another flagship event in Mymensingh in response to the local bikers and co-ordinators of Mymensingh. DeshiBiker selected Gojni, Jhenaigati, Sherpur which is an amazing location beneath the famous Garo Pahar. Yamaha Motorcycle Bangladesh was the title sponsor of DeshiBiker Funfair season 1, Power and Shell Advanced also sponsored this event. Power and Yamaha set up their stall and showcased some of their products.
DeshiBiker FunFair Season 1 was held on 10 January 2025 (Friday) at Bonorani Forest Resort – Jhenaigati, Sherpur. Approximately 500 bikers attended this event by open registration from Sherpur, Jamalpur, Netrokona and Mymensing districts. As this event has been arranged for Mymensingh Division so only bikers of Mymensignh Division were eligible for registration.
Registered bikers started to join the event in early morning at Bonorani Foresr Resor and received a DeshiBiker exclusive T-Shirt, Breakfast and enrolled for the dirt race, after meeting all requirements and mandataries 50 bikers got approval for the final race. All racers were optimistic and passionate about dirt race but due to the heavy hilly tracks, it was difficult to complete the race in the shortest time. DeshiBiker didn’t allow own tuned bikes rather than offered Yamaha FZ-S V2 the same bike to all so with a view to finding out rider skills.
After completing dirt race all went for Jummah Salat and lunch, after that some went to explore the natural beauty of Gojni Obokash and Gago Pahar. Clothing brand Sleeky Tex offered traditional winter pitha to all as evening snacks.
Dewan Sohan, founder of DeshiBiker met the press and expressed his feelings about arranging the Funfair in Mymensingh and highlighted the overall event and his plans with bikers of Mymensingh division. He also assured that DeshiBiker Funfair will be continued like other flagship events of DeshiBiker.
SMK Helmets were handed over among the three riders who had completed the dirt race in the lowest time, Studds Helmets were also given to the raffle draw winners. DeshiBiker Funfiar season 1 ended with the melodious performance of Bind The Band.
