Austrian top motorcycle company KTM is now one of the popular brand in the world and its demand is too high. Due to the best quality products, the price range of the products is comparatively higher. But however, it’s demand is not reduced but to increase. The products of KTM used to export in many countries including India. But in Bangladesh, it is still not available but according to some recent news, it would be available in the Bangladeshi market soon enough. Based on this, two bikes of KTM would be available at the same time where one of them is KTM RC 125 which is the lowest cc motorcycle of RC series but its looks are almost the same as RC 390.

KTM RC 125 is an entry-level sports category bike of KTM which is fully faired stylish and powerful in 125 cc segment. It has a new fuel tank which is made with complete steel. Besides, there is the latest designed windshield which used to cross air smoothly. The headlight is newly designed but a twin. The new model handlebar with switches. All in all. The bike KTM RC 125 is amazing. But in Bangladesh, it’s expected price would be not less than BDT 6,00,000 which seems too much even for bike lovers. Besides, it would get just one competitor in the market of Bangladesh which is Aprilia RS 4 125. Most of the people in the country used to think of buying a new bike for some urgent reasons. Only some others used to fill up their dreams by buying the latest sports bikes. But, if the price of KTM RC 125 would be too high, then perhaps even the young generation would hesitate to take the bike for the first time where it is just 125 cc. They can get 150 cc sports bikes within the budget and so, most of the people would not go for RC 125. But, considering the complete specification of RC 125, it would be worthy of this huge price. Let’s see the details below.

Design & looks: The design of KTM RC 125 is too exciting. Its fuel tank is stylish but strong. The whole tank is steel made which has complete advance designed fairing. The headlamp is too aggressive which is a twin. The handlebar is well placed and sporty. Besides, the orange shades give the looks amazing. However, the silencer is well placed and nicely designed. Orange color alloy wheel with balanced wide tyres which can grip well. The seating position is most attractive which is completely sporty. The pillion seat is placed on a bit higher position but compatible with the design. Besides, the rearview mirrors are completely new designed. There is a thin but sharp tail with a number plate holder and there is also LED tail light.

Engine performance: The engine of KTM RC 125 is too powerful comparatively rest same segment bikes. It consists of 124.7 cc engine displacement which has a liquid cooling system like other sports bikes but used a single cylinder and four-stroke technology. The maximum power is the same as KTM Duke 125 which is 14.8 Bhp @ 9500 rpm and max torque is 11.8 Nm @ 8000 rpm. However, the bike has a six-speed gearbox which would help to make high speed better. According to reliable Indian sites, the bike can run with the highest 125 km per hour top speed which is unbelievable.

Dimensions & seating position: Dimension of a sports bike is very important. Due to a better measure of the bike, the controlling would be great. Though, the bike KTM RC 125 yet to reveal in Bangladesh and so, we yet to know the whole dimension details of the bike. But, considering the rest features, it almost the same as RC 390. However, the weight of the bike is 135 kg which is lighter than looks but as a sports bike, it is alright. Its fuel tank can contain ten liters of fuel which design is fully aggressive. The seat height of the bike is 820 mm which is standard for anyone. The wheelbase is greater than most of the sports bikes comparatively which is almost 1340 mm. Ground clearance is also good which is 178.5 mm.

Suspension & Brakes: The suspensions are completely sporty. The suspensions of KTM are not located in any available bikes in Bangladesh which are completely the latest in technology as well. WP suspension 4357 is used for the front of RC 125 where WP suspension 4618 EM is used for the rear. Besides, the bike consists of 125 mm front wheel travel and 150 mm rear-wheel travel. The brakes are also very good where in front a bigger 300 mm hydraulic brake is used which is a four-pot caliper and 230 mm hydraulic disc brake with a one-pot caliper is used which is also floating brake discs. The tyres of the bike are wide enough and can grip well which would be effective with a dual hydraulic disc. If we look at the front brake of the bike KTM RC 125, it is almost like with Aprilia RS4 125. So, there is no doubt about the control of the bike.

Mileage: 40 km mileage would be great for the latest designed sports category bike. But most of the available sports bikes in Bangladesh would not provide such mileage but in the case of the upcoming KTM RC 125, it would provide more than 40 km mileage average which would not less than 35 on city road. But, if the riders would maintain the average speed on the highway, the mileage would go up to 45 km. Generally, in the city, there is heavy traffic used to locate where riders had to wait a lot to move. So, mileage used to be reduced automatically. So, we have considered the average mileage of RC 125 is 40 km.

Instrument Panel & Features: The features of KTM RC 125 is completely digital and the latest. It is also completely unique in design. The fully digital instrument console with LCD display and consists of a gear display, fuel gauge, service reminder information, digital rpm meter, all new speedometer, trip meter, odometer.

Colors & Price: Red, Orange, and Black which are three colors of KTM RC 125 and they are all available in India. Hopefully, in Bangladesh, all three colors would be revealed at a time. However, the price of this beast is BDT 506,000.
