Lifan is one of the popular name in Bangladesh though the company is from China. It is one of the key motorcycle manufacturer and reliable Chinese brand which which used to produce two wheeler, three wheeler and four wheeler drives. But, in Bangladesh, the one and only distributor Russell Industries used to import just two wheeler since long. Due to reasonable price and minimum level of reliability, people used to start the use of this brand in Bangladesh. Though, at the first time, Russell Industries imported just couple of models but now, they have started to import different categories of motorcycles in Bangladesh.

Lifan Glint 100 is one of them which is a standard category commuter with cheap price. The looks of the bike is almost similar as Bajaj Platina 100 according to the fuel tank and seating position. THe kerb weight, top speed are also sufficient and comparable with Platina. But, mileage would be little less.

The bike Lifan Glint 100 has come to the Bangladesh very recently which has number of latest features are added. It has complete new design and different than any Lifan bikes, the vertical engine is added which is comparatively better, mileage would be greater and fuel tank capacity is higher. However, in Bajaj Platina, hydraulic disc brake is not added but in Lifan Glint 100, front disc brake is used. Let’s see the bike’s specification below.

Design & looks: Lifan Glint 100 is almost a newest member of the family which has similar body shape and seating position of Bajaj Platina. It has standard shades with attractive pillion grabrail. The handlebar is compatible with any aged people and riders and pillion will not face any pain. The headlamp of the bike has come with latest technology and powerful. Due to standard commuter, it has no engine guard.

Engine performance: The engine power of Lifan Glint is reliable. The bike consists of 99 cc displacement which has 5.8 Bhp @ 7500 rpm max power and 7.8 Nm @ 6000 rpm max torque. The combination of power and torque is good. However, the engine consists of latest vertical technology included which is most reliable than normal. The cooling system is air. The engine would help riders to make maximum 90 km per hour top speed reportedly.

Dimensions & seating position: Considering the dimension of Lifan Glint 100, it is made by fulfilling all the requirement of standard category. So, no doubt about the measurement of the bike. consists of 2057 mm, 736 mm and 1270 mm length, width and height gives Lifan Glint a standard looks. It’s ground clearance is not so good but sufficient enough to cross speed breaker. However, the fuel tank can contains 12 litres of fuel and the kerb weight of the bike is 108 kg. The weight of the bike is good which would match with any riders. The seating position is pretty wide, long and comfortable where with rider, two pillion can ride.

Suspension & Brakes: Like all the standard commuter, telescopic suspension is used for the Lifan Glint 100 for front wheel and coil spring suspension is used for the rear wheel. The suspensions are well and reliable which would ensure proper comfort. Besides, for better controlling, the company used front disc brake and rear drum brake which are very effective in the circumstances of Bangladesh.

Mileage: Though, Lifan Glint 100 is somewhat similar with Platina but considering the mileage, Glint 100 is a little behind. But, still the mileage is better than most of the 100 cc bikes in Bangladesh. Reportedly, the average mileage of the bike is more than 60 km plus but according to some users, the mileage is more than 70 km. So, the buying the bike would not disappoint anyone.

Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument console is new in design which has analog speedometer and analog tachometer. Besides, there are also fuel gauge and gear indicators included.

Colors & Price: Only red color of Lifan Glint is available in Bangladesh and the price is heavy reasonable. Considering rest Chinese brands, Lifan is trustworthy as well. It’s current price is BDT 93,000.
