Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Feature Review

Royal Enfield is the most oldest motorcycle manufacturer company in the world established in 1901 by launching a 239cc motorcycle. It’s headquarter is at Redditch, Worcestershire in Britain. Before manufacturing two-wheelers, they were manufacturing canon and riffle. Till now they use the canon symbol as their brand logo to tell everybody about their story. In 1955, they stated their business in India in partnership with Madras Motors which is in Chennai. They were first introduced Royal Enfield Bullet 350 in the market and it got a huge response from the bikers. Even the Indian government choose Bullet 350 for their Army and Police force to border patrol in 1965.

In 2001, Royal Enfield sold 25,000 unit annually all across India, but now they are selling over 30,000 unit per month. Royal Enfield has sold more bikes in India than Harley Davidson has sold all over the world. This is how big Royal Enfield became. Now they have doing their business over 45 countries.

The Royal Enfield Bullet has the longest unchanged production run of any motorcycle having remained continuously in production since 1948. The Bullet marque is even older, and has passed 75 years of continuous production. The Royal Enfield and Bullet names derive from the British company has been a subcontractor to Royal Small Arms Factory in Enfield, London.

Design & looks: Its design has been liked and admired by generations. Royal Enfield has made several changes in Bullet 350 over the years, but the charisma of this bike has remained intact. This company didn’t change much with this legendary bike. In 2020, Royal Enfield launched two new variations of this bike, one is Kick starter and another one is Electric Starter. The ES edition comes with 3D logo on the fuel tank and KS version gets Royal Enfield sticker on the tank. The headlight comes with regular pan-head halogen bulb.

Engine performance: Those who enthusiast for top speed this bike is not for them. Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is basically a cruiser motorcycle and the acceleration is not much as a 350cc motorcycle. It also has the same engine capacity and engine power out-put like the Royal Enfield Classic 350. This motorcycle equipped with a Single cylinder, 4 stroke, air-cooled, fuel injection, 346cc engine that can burn out 19.8 Bhp maximum power at 5250 rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. But as a 350cc cruiser bike, this motorcycle should have a liquid-cooled engine. This motorcycle can hit the top speed of 130 km/h. But it started to vibrate after 80 to 90 km/h speed. The engine mated with a 5-speed gearbox and wet multi-plate clutch.

Dimensions & seating position: There is not a single change in this new edition in dimension. Though the engine performance, design pattern and suspension settings are the same as Classic 350 but it gets some changes in dimension and weight. Bullet 350 has height of 1120 mm, width 810 mm, length 2170 mm, wheelbase size 135 mm and the ground clearance is 135 mm. It also 12 kg lightweight than Classic 350. Royal Enfield motorcycles are known for their comfort at any road condition and long tour. The R&D team of Royal Enfield spend so much time to make this motorcycle super riding friendly. Wide handlebar and well-cushioned seats provide a comfortable ride during city and highway riding. Single seat comes with as stock but you can install another seat for pillion.

Suspension & Brakes: This 2020 edition of this bike installed with a 280 mm disc in front and 143 mm drum brake in the rear wheel and it also gets a single-channel ABS braking system. Royal Enfield didn’t changed their suspension settings from the beginning but they make some changes to improve the suspensions and that can provide comfortable cruising ride. Bullet 350 equipped with a Telescopic, 35mm Forks suspension that can travel 130 mm and Twin Gas Charged Shock Absorbers With 5-step Adjustable Preload installed in the rear wheel and it can travel 80 mm.

Mileage: Many people thought that, Royal Enfield has a mileage of 15-20 km/l. But the amazing part is, this machine can provide up to 35 km/l mileage in any road condition.

Instrument Panel & Features: This update version now have a semi-digital dashboard that wasn’t had the previous one. The speedometer of this bike is analog. But the other features like trip meter, fuel gauge, low fuel indicator features are shows on the digital display.

Colors: There are four color variations we can see in this bike. These are Bullet Silver, Onyx Black, Black and Forest Green.
