Taro GP-2 Sport is also a 150 cc sports bike which is yet to available in Bangladesh. According to the report, it would be revealed here in March 2018. Taro is basically an Italian brand but here in Bangladesh due to the official importer, it would be known as Taro Bangla. Basically in Bangladesh, the usage of 150 cc bikes are heavy. But they are not actually sporting category bikes. People would like to buy 150 cc standard bikes due to the reasonable price and great mileage. People used to consider first 150 cc sports bike. Here in Bangladesh, there are not many 125 cc sports category bikes available only but few. They are obviously top rated like Aprilia RS4 125, KTM Duke 125 and RC 125. All three are premium segmented bikes which consist of heavy price tags. So, people like these bikes but most of the people in the country do not have the ability to afford such bikes.

However, there are also some 125 cc sports bikes like Race GTR 125, GSR 125 and so on. These are available with lower price tags but not so lower which used to be expected by the people. They can not dominate the market at all which are also assembled in China though, it was originated somewhere else. So. considering all the fact the upcoming bike if Taro would face tough competition here which would be not from other 125 cc sports bikes but from the demand of people. Would they fill up the demand of people of the country that will be the main question? And obviously the company should keep the price of their bike lower than the same segment of other sports bikes. Design & looks: Taro GP-2 Predator is almost as same looking as GP-1 just it’s displacement is less. It has an attractive front end with a wide rear position. The mirrors are also stylish. The bike is fully faired and completely unique designed in Bangladesh. The bike has a full engine guard attached to his seating position. Considering the design, it is a very strong and well-decorated bike.

Engine performance: Taro GP-2 Predator is a 150 cc bike consists of its actual displacement. Besides, the engine is four-stroke, liquid-cooled and camshaft overhead. However, the bike has a six-speed gearbox that can make 135 kmph top speed. The engine is the very reliable type which can generate 16 Bhp @8500 rpm max power and 14.5 Nm @ 7000 rpm max torque.

Dimensions & seating position: Taro GP-2 Sport is a full faired sports bike and its measure is much alike with an available sports bike in Bangladesh. Its dimension is (1930 mm * 730 mm * 1080 mm). Besides, the wheelbase is greater which is 1313 mm and also it has good ground clearance. So, most of the obstacles on the road can not cause the riders of the bike. However, the bike has a split seating position included where the rear seat is pretty higher and compatible with sports looks. The bike has 11.5 liters fuel tank capacity where the ignition system is EFI.

Suspension & Brakes: Taro GP-2 Predator has good quality suspensions added to the bike like it’s elder brother Taro GP-1. It has also front positive shock absorber and rear single gas absorber. Overall, the suspensions are great. Besides, it has a front dual hydraulic disc brake added which is 300 mm disc each. the rear brake is also a hydraulic disc which is a 240 mm disc. The braking system of the bike is so impressive.

Mileage: Taro GP-2 Predator is a highly decorated 150 cc sports bike and so, it’s mileage would be lower just like other available sports bikes. But considering overall features, it’s average mileage would not less than 38 km hopefully.

Instrument Panel & Features: Taro GP-2 has attractive instrument console. There is digital and analog combination. RPM meter is analog and rest features are almost digital. It has a digital speedometer, low fuel indicator, clock, digital gear display, odometer and trip meter. Besides, the headlamp and tail lamp of the bikes are LED.

Colors & Price: Taro GP-2 will be available in Bangladesh with four colors. The colors are Red, Black, Green, and Orange. The price of these motorcycles is 296,000 BDT.
