Aprilia is a renowned motorcycle manufacturing company that is an Italian-origin brand. Their products used to participate in every season of the MotoGP competition since the beginning and their brand. Due to famous and expensive products, their bikes are not available in many countries including Bangladesh. But in the year 2017, a product of Aprilia has launched in Bangladesh which is known as Aprilia RS4 125. But recently Runner Automobiles LTD started to import Aprilia’s motorcycles in Bangladesh and they also become the sole distributor.

125cc is the most demanding commuter segment in Bangladesh and it’s also the most competitive segment. Aprilia FX 125 launched with some attractive features that no 125cc bike had before. Due to the high demand for commuter motorcycles in Bangladesh, almost every motorcycle company has their bikes in this segment. But only Entry Level Sports Bike RS4 125 of Italian brand Aprilia was available in Bangladesh with the hands of some gray importers. But since Runner Automobiles LTD became the sole distributor of Aprilia Motorcycle in Bangladesh, it has been launching bikes for almost all segments of this brand. 

Design & looks: Aprilia FX 125 looks exactly the same as the 150cc variant. There are no major changes in this 125cc variant. These two bikes can be distinguished only by the color of the engine. The 150cc variant has a silver color and the 125cc segment has a black color engine. Aprilia tries to give a sporty look with its curve fuel tank, front extension kit, and engine cowl. The headlight unit is mounted with dual-halogen light and a small LED DRL. The side indicator and tail light is LED.

Engine performance: As a 125cc commuter, this bike gets some stunning features on its engine powertrain. This one is the first 125cc commuter motorcycle equipped with a Euro3 standard engine with an Electronic Fuel Injection system. Apart from that, this bike gets a four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 124.7 cc engine and can produce 9.66 Bhp maximum power at 7500 rpm and 12.3 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. For transmission, they used a 5-speed gearbox and wet multi-plate clutch.

Dimensions & seating position: This one is similar to the other commuter motorcycle. The overall length of this bike is 2030 mm, width 760 mm, Height 1050 mm, Seat height 760 mm and the standard ground clearance is 165 mm. The seating and riding position are also standard. Aprilia uses a 3-part clip-on handlebar and a single stare seat. For city commuting, it would be a perfect bike.

Suspension & Brakes: Telescopic Fork Type suspension is used for the front end and twin-shock absorber for the rear. This bike gets Tubular Frame chassis. It will provide good balance and comfort. 240 mm disc in the front and 130 mm drum brake used in the rear wheel. There will be no CBS/ABS braking system on it.

Mileage: There will be no doubt about its mileage. This two-wheeler delivers mileage close to 45 km/L. On the highway, it will provide almost 47 km/L. This bike has a fuel injection system and can give better efficiency.

Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument cluster is semi-digital. The tachometer is analog, but the other features like the speedometer, trip meter, odometer, and fuel gauge are digital. 

Colors & Price: The current market price of this bike is 110,000/- BDT. Only blue color is available in market.
