The Italian brand Aprilia is a well-known two-wheeler manufacturer company in the world. This motorcycle company was established in 1945. They also participate in MotoGP and are famous for their premium quality bikes. Runner Automobiles ltd now imports Aprilia’s all models in Bangladesh.

Before some Aprilia motorcycles were available in Bangladesh through the hand of some importers. But those motorcycle’s price was out of the range and didn’t get the expected popularity. But now Runner Automobiles Ltd launches some Aprilia motorcycles in Bangladesh and their prices are reasonable. Among them, Aprilia GPR 150 is the most eye-catchy and dashing look. It’s going to be the competitor of the Yamaha R15 V3, Honda CBR 150, and Suzuki GSX-R150.

Design & looks: The design and outlooks of Aprilia GPR 150 are completely new and amazing. Though it slightly looks like its younger sibling Aprilia RS4 125. GPR 150’s fairing is bulkier and larger than RS4 125. Aprilia also does some stickering on this bike. They give GPR logo on the front of the fairing and the Aprilia branding on the engine cowl. This bike’s engine cowl looks compact and large. Aprilia GPR 150 gets an all-new headlight size with tweaked rearview mirror holders. The headlight unit of this bike is Halogen but the parking light is LED. The rider seat though remains identical to the European spec model, the pillion seat gets a new wider and longer overlook. 

Engine performance: Italian brands are famous for their powerful and refined engine and Aprilia is at the front of this segment. This sports bike is equipped with a single-cylinder, four-stroke, Liquid-cooled, DOHC, 149.2cc engine that can produce 18 bhp maximum power at 9750 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 7500 rpm. Aprilia uses the Fuel Injection system on this bike. For that, it would ensure the proper use of fuel and also will deliver handsome mileage. For the smooth transmission, they installed a 6-speed gearbox and a wet multi-plate clutch. The top speed would be around 140-145 km/h.

Dimensions & seating position: The seating position of this bike looks standard. The rider seat’s cushion is comparatively soft but the pillion seat is slightly hard. But this bike’s seating position is ergonomic and the handlebar is a little bit up-raised. For that, you don’t have to lean much. The overall length of this bike is 1950 mm, width 770 mm, height 1100 mm, and wheelbase size 1345 mm. 160 mm ground clearance would make some problems in rough road conditions. The kerb weight of this bike is 140 kg and it can hold 15.4 liters of fuel. 

Suspension & Brakes: Aprilia used USD fork suspension in the front wheel which is better and for the rear wheel, a swingarm with mono-shock suspension is used. The suspension is very sporty and due to mono-shock, the bike would steady during top speed. Now, we can see CBS and ABS braking systems on premium sports bikes in Bangladesh. But this bike doesn’t have any of them. But its 300 mm disc in front and 218 mm disc in the brake in the rear wheel can provide excellent performance. Aprilia installed 100/80-17 section in the front and 130/70-17 section tubeless CST tyre in the rear wheel.  

Mileage: Like most of sports bikes, Aprilia GPR 150 can also provide standard mileage. According to the company and for the fuel injection system, it can deliver 40+ km/l average mileage which is more than enough for a sports segment bike. You get even better mileage on low rpm and on the highway. 

Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument panel of this bike is semi-digital. They tried to give it a classic look. The Tachometer is analog, but the other features like the speedometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, gear indicator are digital.

Colors & Price: The total three major colors of Aprilia GPR 150 are available in Bangladesh which is Red, Black, and White. The current market price of this bike is 300,000 BDT only.
