Aprilia SR 125 Feature Review
This Italian-origin brand is worldwide famous for its exclusive and modern features of motorbikes. Due to expensive and goodwill, their bikes are not available in many countries. But they started their journey in the year 2017 in Bangladesh. Their motorcycles participate in any motorcycle competition like MotoGP. This is a sister concern two-wheeler company of Piaggio.
Today, a huge number of female riders are getting interested in scooters and motorcycles. Because of comfort and economical. The Aprilia AR 125 is an entry-level commuter scooter from the Italian brand motorcycle company which is famous for its bikes like RSV4 or Tuono. Now they are trying to catch the scooter market in Bangladesh.
Design & looks: Aprilia brings their scooters from their basic design and concept. Barring the dual-tone paint and some redesigned sticking. Good paint finish brushed alloy wheels and a chrome bar end looks nice. LED tail lamp, unique-looking wheels, and stunning fairing twin headlight give it a sporty look. The instrumental panel is fully analog and it has all the essential features on it. One big stair height-adjustable seat is added on and It’s comfortable for rider and pillion both. The engine cowls’ design looks dynamic and sharp. This scooter has large storage under the seat.
Engine performance: This two-wheeler scooter has a 124.7 cc new generation displacement, four-stroke, air-cooled, SOHC- technology engine that will bump up the performance and can deliver 9.4 bhp @ 7250 rpm maximum power and 9.9 Nm @ 6250 rpm maximum torque. It can deliver a good acceleration rate and the engine is mated with a CVT automatic gearbox for better transmission. It can reach a top speed of 98 km/h.
Dimensions & seating position: The handlebar is adjusted with its body and it’s smooth and easy to control. one big large stair seat is added to its feature. Alloy wheels are used in this scooter where the wheel size is 1346 mm. Tubeless tires are used in both the front and rear wheels. where the font size is 120/70 – 14 and the rear is 120/70 – 14. Suspension & Brakes: Aprilia didn’t bring any kind of changes in suspension. The same Hydraulic telescopic fork with straight stanchions suspension is used for the front end and 4-setting adjustable spring pre-load mono-shock suspension is for the rear. A single cradle structure in tubular steel with pressed reinforcements chassis is used in this scooter. It will provide a good balance and comfort. The braking section is guarded with a 220 mm brake disc served by ø 2×25.4 mm dual-piston floating caliper in front and a 140 mm drum brake for the rear wheel. It will provide safety and better control of riding.
Mileage: This is a performance-oriented scooter and it won’t be right to expect higher mileage. But can give a decent mileage of close to 40 km/L. But if it would ride gently, it can give 43-45 km/L.
Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument panel of Aprilia SR 125 is fully analog. The speedometer is analog and other features like the odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, and low oil indicator are also analog.
