Basically, we buy a scooter when our priority is city rides. But after buying a scooter, sometimes we feel disappointed when we try to make a long tour with our scooter. But Aprilia SXR 160 can remove your disappointment. Because Aprilia SXR 160 is a maxi scooter. Maxi scooter means, which is made for city rides and long tours both.
Design & looks: There was a time when only females ride scooters in Bangladesh. But now males and females both love to ride scooters. So, companies try to give a common look to their scooter, which will suit any gender. Aprilia always tries to give their best when its talks about the scooter’s outlook. Aprilia SXR 160 has a great outlook also. It looks like a superbike from in front. Every single light of this scooter is LED. Unique-looking wheels, stunning headlights, and a windshield give it a pure sporty look. The instrumental panel is fully digital and it has all the essential features with some great advanced features on it. Also, this scooter has large storage under the seat.
Engine performance: This maxi scooter has a 160.3 cc new generation displacement, four-stroke, air-cooled, SOHC- FI technology engine. Which can produce 10.7 BHP maximum power and 11 newton meters of torque. Aprilia SXR 160 has a great acceleration rate. And it has a V-belt automatic gearbox for better transmission. This scooter can reach a top speed of around 110 km/h.
Dimensions & seating position: Though it’s a maxi scooter, its body dimension is a little bigger. Its height is 1953 mm and 800 mm in width. Also, it has a good ground clearance of 160 mm and its seat height is 775 mm. The curb weight of this scooter is 129 kg. In this scooter, both wheels used alloy rims. And its wheelbase is 1349 mm. Suspension & Brakes: Aprilia SXR ABS 160 has a great braking system. It has a 140 mm drum brake on its rare wheel. And 220 MM Disc Brake with Antilock Braking System (ABS) on its front wheel. ABS braking system will provide a great braking performance. Hydraulic double telescopic fork suspension is used in the front end and Hydraulic shock absorber suspension is used in the rear. It will provide safety and better control of riding.
Mileage: Because of the FI system its engine will give better mileage. This maxi scooter can deliver around 45 km/l. But on the highway, the mileage is increased by close to 50 km/L.
