Honda is a famous and reliable motorcycle brand from the beginning of their journey. Their engine and built-in quality are barely compared with other motorcycle brands. They are mainly producing higher segment racing bikes. But to catch all generation rider they also have a few lower segments bike too. They have many production houses all over the world. Honda Launched CBR 250RR a few years ago.
CBR is one of the famous motorcycle series all over the world from the giant motorcycle brand Honda. They have All segment (above 150cc) CBR bike. CBR series is known for a racing sports bike. Honda continuously trying to improve this series two-wheeler. This CBR 250RR is many looks like a higher segment Racing bike. It also gets a racing DNA engine that can generate enormous power.
Design & looks: Honda CBR 250RR gets the look and design like a racing beast. At first look, everyone can get confused with its looks. Because it doesn’t look like a 250cc bike but it much looks like a higher segment racing motorcycle. It gets the inspiration from higher segments CBR series sports bike. It designed with the tag line “Strong Presence” which will create craze among young generation riders. The low seating position and long front end nose will give the rider’s sense of speed. The color graphics and paint scheme make it a new modern generation motorcycle. The sculpted fuel tank gets the well designed Honda logo and the front body cowl designed with a 250RR tag line. Its aerodynamic architecture, solidity, and sharp-edged design make it aggressive and sportier. The headlamp section is copied from its elder sibling CBR 1000. Double barrel parallel-twin exhaust just looks amazing and it covered with aluminum and carbon fiber muffler.
Engine performance: Just don’t go for its look, engine powertrain is also impressive. Honda makes the CBR motorcycle series with speed sensors. This racing beast equipped with 4-Stroke, 8-Valve, Parallel Twin Cylinder, Liquid Cooled With Auto Electric Fan, 249.7 cc displacement engine which can burns out maximum 38.21 bhp maximum power at 12,500 rpm and peak torque 23.3 Nm at 11,000 rpm. This configuration indicates there will be no lacking acceleration and speed. This is one of the best power delivery motorcycles in its segment. The slipper clutch and 6-speed gearbox will help to get easy gear shifting and smooth transmission. This racing monster can hit the top speed of 179 km/h. It’s not only a street bike but can deliver a great performance in racing tracks.
Dimensions & seating position: The up-rise pillion seat, comfortable rider seat and down clip-on handlebar show its racing outlook. The rider seat is customized with well-padded dust resistance cover for better performance in a long ride. The low handlebar position just reminds MotoGP bike. Every rider can feel the racing posture whenever they will ride. The dimension is slightly bigger than lower segments CBR bikes. This two-wheeler comes with a standard height of 1098 mm, width 724 mm, length 2060 mm, standard ground clearance of 145 mm and racing style saddle height 790 mm. Beefier and wider 110/70 – 17 and 140/70 – 17 section tubeless tyres are used.
Suspension & Brakes: Inverted Telescopic Front Suspension (USD) suspension is used in the front wheel and Aluminum Swing Arm (5 Adjustable Mono Suspension with Pro-Link System) suspension is at the rear. The front suspension is capable to hold the pressure and the rear one maintained the mass centralization. lightweight Truss Frame chassis is used. This frame gives stability and slim architecture to gain quick acceleration. Honda made some improvements to the braking system. 310 mm Hydraulic Disc, Dual Piston is guarded the front wheel and 240 mm Hydraulic Disc, Single Piston for the rear wheel. There is also a standard double channel ABS system is available.
Mileage: The overall mileage is not as better as you expect. But for a racing sports bike, it can deliver an average mileage of 25 km/L. Honda CBR 250RR also can give 30 km/l in highway riding and 20 km/l in off-road/cities.
Instrument Panel & Features: The instrumental console is fully digital and rationalizes with all essential features on it. Features like Odometer, tachometer, trip meter, clock and along with fuel gauge, ABS light, and gear neutralizer light.
Colors: Honda launched it with three new stunning and eye-catching shades. Those are Honda Red Racing, Matte Gun Powder Black Metallic, and Anchor Gray Metallic.
