Honda is one the most prominent motorcycle brands worldwide and has had a good presence in the Bangladesh motorcycle market since the very early times. In the last couple of years motorcycle industry has become more competitive and dynamic, many overseas brands entered Bangladesh and domestic brands also trying to emerge. Japanese Brand Honda firmly holds its position, recently launched Honda Shine 100 the lower segment commuter bike. Once Honda was famous for an affordable commuter bike for all, by carrying this legacy Honda Shine 100 has been launched based on Honda CB Shine 125 design and technical features.

Honda Shine 100 comes with a standard and classic design with simple but catchy graphics of amazing dual tone. Its compact and simple design gets the extra attention of riders of mid ages and classy people. Honda Shine 100 is available in three different colors Red, Blue and Grey, each variant featuring dual tone graphic.

Honda Shine 100 is powered by 98.98 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine to deliver maximum power of acceleration. In safety features Honda didn’t compromise, Honda Shine 100 is equipped with both drum brakes paired with CBS (Combi Braking System) and adopted premium tires to add more grip in braking. Overall, Honda Shine 100 is a package that offers basics of a commuter motorcycle.

Design & Looks: Honda developed the Shine 100 in a compact minimal design that gets priority in features and other aspects rather than look and design. Honda tried to keep the bike a standard one featuring amazing graphics and color tones. Dual-tone graphic lines and branding over there enhance the overall design. In front the headlamp chamber also gets minimalistic color coated. In the open eye, the Honda Shine seems very similar to its elder brother Honda CB Shine 125 but on closer look, you may differentiate the new Shine 100.  Its fuel tank and headlamp chamber are simple and slightly smaller than CB Shine 125. However, Honda Shine 100 is the best in the segment, specially designed for targeted customers who prefer comfort rather than style.

Engine Performance: Honda Shine 100 comes with an unparallel engine even among Honda lineup, the 98.98 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine can produce 7.1PS @ 7500RPM of max power and 7.50Nm @ 5000RPM of max torque. This powerful engine is mated with 4-speed transmission to deliver better performance and acceleration. Honda Shine 100 reaches maximum 85 km/h top speed ease without any obstacles and provides an average 60 km/l mileage at better road conditions. Moreover, Honda Shine 100 gets an adequate engine to power up itself.

Dimensions & Seating Position: Honda Shine 100 gets an excellent body dimension to ensure as much comfort and suitable riding. Being a lower cc commuter bike Honda Shine 100 has been designed with well-proportionate dimensions of 1995 mm length, 758 mm width and 1050 Height. Its 677 mm seat height allows comparatively short riders to easily ride this bike and 99 kg kerb weight can be handled by any age of riders. On the other hand the 9 litters of large fuel tank get rid of you in frequent re-fueling.

Suspension & Brakes: Braking is one of the crucial aspects of a motorcycle and other vehicles. Honda Shine 100 is equipped with CBS (Combi Braking System) featuring 130 drum in front and 110 drum in rear. This overall braking set is more than enough for a 100 cc commuter bike. Hone Shine 100 gets telescopic fork suspension in front and 5-step adjustable twin suspension in rear based on a Diamond type of body frame. Honda Shine is boosted with quite efficient brake and suspension setup intending to maximize performance.

Mileage: Honda officially mentioned that Honda Shine 100 could provide an average 60 km/l mileage, sometimes depending on various factors. Although Honda Shine provides better mileage in highways, in city rides, mileage drops a little bit. Whatever Honda Shine is fuel fuel-efficient motorcycle at all.

Instrument Panel & Features: Honda Shine comes with basic terms of electrical features, gets an analog instrument cluster features speedometer, fuel gauge, indicators, etc. Its 35-35 W LED headlamp illuminates vast area of road, both kick and self-starter are given to Honda Shine, the maintenance-free batter bound for long-lasting standby.
