Mahindra is a reputed Indian brand but earlier they only produced four-wheelers in India and exported them to Bangladesh as well but later they started to introduce their newborn two-wheelers and also release them into Bangladesh. Though they yet to dominate the market due to the Indian brand, they used to regard as a reliable brand so far.

However, most of the products are low segment and in Bangladesh, they yet to release high configured sports category bikes. But they have selected their products very wisely. In Bangladesh, 100 to 125 cc bikes are highly demanded along with the same segment scooters which would provide very handsome mileage within a reasonable price.

Though, sports category bikes are comparatively high valued and could not provide great mileage and so, middle-aged people would like to buy 100 cc or 125 cc bikes instead of sports category.

But there is also scooter segment are also available in the company of Mahindra and they have released a couple of well-designed scooters in Bangladesh as well. Nowadays, scooters market are also very good because females are also starting to buy this for daily purpose. Design & looks: Mahindra Duro DZ is a decent looking scooter with average size. It has front foot resting space for the rider which is pretty enough. The seat of the scooter is thick and comfortable. The headlamp is a halogen type with stylish sidelight. It was a pretty small silencer pipe and there is also a pillion grab rail at the rear end. The handle is easily movable. Besides, it’s color combinations makes the looks amazing at all.

Engine performance: Mahindra Duro DZ is powered by 124.6 cc engine displacement with 8 Bhp@ 7000 rpm maximum power and 9 Nm@5500 rpm max torque. The claiming top speed of the bike is 80 kmph. The engine is air-cooled with a fully automatic gearbox.

Dimensions & seating position: Considering all scooters in the segment, it’s dimension is good enough where Mahindra Duro DZ is 1814 mm long, 770 mm wide and 1275 mm high. Its seat height is also good and suitable for all types of riders. Besides, it consists of 6.5 liters fuel tank capacity, the kerb weight of the scooter is 114 kg. It is pretty much than expected. But under the seat, it can hold 20 liters of fuel.

Suspension & Brakes: However, Mahindra Duro DZ is a very good quality 125 cc scooter which has front telescopic suspension and rear hydraulic suspension. The suspensions are well and dependable which can bear good weight as well. But one this which is its braking system should be good and should use front hydraulic disc brake but they did not. Both are 130 mm drum brakes and so, I would like to give 7 ratings on brake out of 10.

Mileage: Mileage of Mahindra Duro DZ 125 would be good hopefully and it’s reported average mileage is 50 km. But it should much better than that. Current many 150 cc bikes used to provide more than 50 km mileage and so, it could not accept by Mahindra company and needs to update the fuel-efficient system at once.

Instrument Panel & Features: Front console of Mahindra Duro DZ 125 is full analog but classic in design. It has an analog speedometer, odometer, analog fuel gauge, side light indicator. Besides, there are some switches are placed on the handlebar for a different purpose.
