Mahindra Pantero Overall Review
If we consider the top Indian two-wheelers brand, we must admit the name of Bajaj. In the second position, there is TVS and later Hero MotoCorp. But there is also a reputed two-wheeler manufacturer in India which is Mahindra though they started their journey with four-wheeler drives. But for a couple of years, their two-wheeler products are everywhere including their neighbor country Bangladesh. So, like the rest of the Indian brand, Bangladeshi people regard Mahindra as one of the top reliable companies here and their production rate is just like other Indian brands here.
Mahindra has launched its bikes in Bangladesh where different cc bikes are also included. This Indian manufacturer yet to launch any big cc bikes or sports category bikes in Bangladesh but at first, they have launched according to the demands of the people. In Bangladesh, people used to demand a bike to fulfill their daily works and so, at first they used to look at the mileage of the bikes and price tags. If a bike would provide great mileage with great reliability, it would be demanded in the country and so, Mahindra has launched a number of 100 cc bikes here which are reasonable in price. Among them, Mahindra Pantero is one which is basically a 110 cc bike. The current price of the bike is 130,500 BDT. So, let’s find out below which features are attached to the bike of Mahindra Pantero.
Design & looks: Mahindra Pantero is a standard bike that has completely decent and standard looks pretty suitable for all aged riders. The headlamp is a bit aggressive in design with a stylish fuel tank. It can be compared with Discover 100 cc considering seating position. There is a mudguard and a pillion grabrail is attached. The silencer pipe is pretty long. The wheels are alloy. Overall, the bike is very gentle to look at.
Engine performance: The actual displacement of Mahindra Pantero is 106.7 cc though officially it is a 110 cc bike. It’s max power is 8.5 Bhp @ 7500 rpm with max torque 8.5 Nm @ 5500 rpm. One cylinder and four gears are included in the bike. The engine is air-cooled and MCi – 5. Its speed is quite good along with acceleration. The bike can make 0 to 60 mph in 8.85 seconds reportedly.
Dimensions & seating position: Consists of 2000 mm long, 735 mm wide and 1050 mm high, Mahindra Pantero is very perfect for all types of users. Its ground clearance is 165 mm with a 1265 mm wheelbase. Kerb weight of the commuter is 120 kg which is pretty much higher than the same segment bikes. The fuel tank is bigger which can contain 13.70 liters of fuel at the same time. Besides, it’s seating position is longer and can take two pillions at a time.
Suspension & Brakes: Mahindra Pantero has front telescopic hydraulic damped suspension and rear suspension is five steps adjustable coiled hydraulic damped. They are very good and reliable in quality. But the company does not use disc brake even for the front wheel and both brakes are 130 mm each. So, controlling at great speed would not so perfect.
