Roadmaster Velocity 125 Feature Review

Roadmaster is a domestic brand of Bangladesh. But their products couldn’t dominate the market yet. The demand of domestic brands motorcycles are not higher except Runner. Roadmaster have several categories of bike available in the market. They import most of the bike parts from China and assemble in Bangladesh. That’s why, their price tag of bikes remain within a range and their bikes are preferable for middle class people.

Roadmaster recently announced that they are going to launched a update version of Roadmaster velocity 100. The bikes design remain the same but the engine power increases. But the colors and fuel efficiency remain same.

Design & looks: The style is completely same as previous version. Panels, smarter decals and a stance which make it much bigger and stylish. It’s fuel tank is perfectly adjusted with body. LED tail lamp, unique looking wheels, stunning headlight can attract anyone. The instrumental panel is fully digital and it has all the essential feature on it. This bikes swing arm is little bit shorter than previous version. Its sitting position is comfortable for rider and pillion both.  

Engine performance: Roadmaster velocity 125 cc has a 124.5 cc new generation displacement, four-stroke, air-cooled engine which can deliver 8.4 bhp @ 7500 rpm maximum power and 9.4 Nm @ 5500 rpm maximum torque. Though, it’s not a sports bike but with its powerful engine, it has a good acceleration rate.  

Dimensions & seating position: Seating position is quite comfortable. The handle bar is little bit high than sports bike.This new version of Velocity is not bigger as previous version. This motorcycle is slightly smaller in diameter. Velocity 125 has a standard height of 1090 mm, width 750 mm, length 2060 mm. The seat height of this bike is 780 mm and 170 mm ground clearance. Alloy wheels are used in this bike and wheel size is 1262 mm. Tube tyres are used in this bike where front size is 2.75-18 and rear is 3.25-18.

Suspension & Brakes: Telescopic Hydraulic damped suspension is used for the front end and Nitrox suspension for the rear. Double Cradle Type chassis is used in this two wheeler. It will provide good balance and comfort. Single Disc is for front brake and Drum brake in rear. It will provide safety and better control in riding. According to the record, it can get it’s top speed 110 km/h.

Mileage: This new version of Roadmaster velocity 125 has a handsome mileage close to 50 km/L. But it would give more mileage on highway of 60 km/L. This bike has carburetor system and can give a better efficiency.

Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument panel of Roadmaster velocity 125 is digital. The tachometer and fuel gauge is digital along with other features like odometer, tripmeter, clock are digital.  

Colors & Price: The market price of Roadmaster velocity 125 is 107,900. It has three colors available which are blue, red and black.
