100 cc standard bikes are the most used segment in Bangladesh. Basically, 100cc, 110cc and lower than 100 cc bikes used to provide more mileage and the price range of such kinds of bikes are reasonable for all types of people. Though in recent times, people used to think about buying higher cc bikes but still a large number of people who live in rural sides of the country are using 100cc and 80 cc bikes for meeting their daily needs.

In our country, there are plenty of 100 cc bikes with different models that are from different brands. Most of the two-wheeler brands used to launch at least one 100 cc or lower cc bikes for people. However, though 80 cc bikes seem rare in current time still some people from the countryside or a bit older people who can not control a weightful bike, prefer 80 cc bikes which seem lighter than most and handling is easy.

But currently most of the motorcycle manufacturing companies do not launch 80 cc bikes due to low demand and so, local companies are here to provide such bikes. There are some local brands like Runner, Walton, and Roadmaster has a couple of same segment bikes that are still available in market and among them, Roadmaster Prime seems a better option for all types of people.

Roadmaster Prime is basically an 85 cc bike but known as 80 cc which is a product of Roadmaster in Bangladesh. Most of the parts are imported from China but still assembled in Bangladesh and called a Bangladeshi product. Let’s see the complete specification review of Roadmaster Prime below.

Design & looks: Roadmaster Prime is basically an ordinary 80 cc bike that has a smart design but features are all normal. It has a small-sized fuel tank which design is completely standard. There is a pillion grabrail which has space to carry a small bag. The handlebar is standard which has mudguard and sharee guard added. The headlamp is attractive though. Overall, as an 80 cc bike, it seems alright.

Engine performance: The actual displacement of Roadmaster Prime is 84.41 cc which can generate 4.5 kW @8000 rpm max power. It is an 80 cc bike and so, top speed would be around 70 kmph. The engine of the bike is air-cooled and four-stroke. Amazingly electric starting system is also added to the bike.

Dimensions & seating position: Due to being an 80 cc bike, Roadmaster Prime is pretty small which dimension is 1930 mm long, 860 mm wide and 1210 mm high. It seems the bike is pretty higher than thought. However, it has a 1200 mm wheelbase with 8.5 liters capacity containing a fuel tank. The bike is a bit lighter which kerb weight is 87.5 kg reportedly. But also can take 140 kg maximum load.

Suspension & Brakes: Suspension of the bike Roadmaster Prime are not so qualitative. Though, as the usual front suspension is telescopic and rear suspension is twin spring-loaded. It ensures comfort as well but not a great deal. It has both drum brakes instead of at least a front disc brake. Considering the speed, brakes seem alright but disc brake would be a better option.

Mileage: The mileage of Roadmaster Prime is completely satisfying. Due to 80 cc bikes, it’s mileage is very handsome. The reported average mileage of the bike is around 65 km. It will be increased on the highway.

Instrument Panel & Features: Not many functions are added into the front panel of the bike Roadmaster Prime. It has as usual analog speedometer and rpm meter. There is also a fuel gauge added into the panel.
