They are launching one by one different model scooter in the market. Yamaha Ray ZR was one of the most glorified model of them which is basically a 113cc scooter with attractive look and having lot of features within budget.
Authorized distributor of Yamaha in Bangladesh, ACI motors Ltd. launched Yamaha Ray ZR into the last year on August which was make huge demand on the market. Right now, they are going to launch it’s Street Rally edition in Bangladesh. In this Ray ZR Street Rally edition have some different changes from the older version.

This Ray ZR Street Rally have a 113cc blue core engine which can generate 7.2 PS @7500 rpm maximum power and 8.1 Nm @5000 rm maximum torque. Just like most other scooter it have Continuously variable transmission (CVT). Though it’s a 113cc scooter but because of better top speed, Yamaha provide better braking system on it. It have a 170mm disc brake on it’s front and drum brake used on it’s rear tyre. During the the test ride team Deshi Biker was highly satisfied on it’s braking. This all new Ray ZR street Rally have Unified Braking System (UBS) which make the braking system more effective. If you will press the rear brake, it will work for both wheel which will guide you to avoid skidding.
Company claim this scooter can provide 66 km/h mileage but during the test ride of older version, we got 50+ km/L mileage in city and highway. Top speed of this scooter is around 100 km/h.
Telescopic suspension used on it’s front and Unit swing suspension place on it’s rear. It’s suspension performance was good for city and highway but due to lightweight, this won’t give you better feedback in off-road. Both tyre size is 90/100-10 and tubeless. Kerb weight of this unisex scooter is 103 kg. Fuel tank capacity is slightly lower which is 5.2L only.
Seating position of this scooter is highly comfortable and you will really enjoy the long ride with it. This street rally edition have Knuckle Guard just in front of it’s hand bar due to protect your hand from any odd crash. This new edition is come with fully digital meter and it’s look so cool.
It have some useful features as well like 21 liter storage inside of it’s seat, large front pocket in front of rider, USB charger option inside the seat etc. FZ 25 rear view mirror is used on this beautiful scooter. It have highly secured key shutter locking system and that’s why duplicate key won’t work anymore.
Older version Ray ZR price was 152,000/- BDT and this all new Street Rally price is also disclosed by ACI motors Ltd which is 165,000/- BDT.
