Apache series is the best-selling motorcycle by TVS and it has consistently evolved, and the Apache 4V represents the pinnacle of this evolution. Recently TVS added TVS Apache RTR 4V Fi to their lineup which is a prominent and highly regarded motorcycle in the sporty commuter segment, known for its impressive performance, stylish design, and advanced features. Looks & Design: As a naked sports bike, TVS Apache RTR 4V Fi has very sharply and aggressively re-designed regarding its previous sporty vibe. Its muscular tank cowl with eye-catching graphics, aggressive headlamp engraved with TVS logo,  handlebar with aerodynamic looking glasses, indiscrete dual tone magnet grip seat, wide wheels, and bullpup exhaust have been combined to make impressive looks. Its new engine cowl sports minimalistic graphics with an aerodynamic razor-sharp design to protect the engine from outside dust, water and bumps. Overall the bike looks quite aggressive and sophisticated to chase with other contenders.

Engine Performance: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Fi is powered by a heavy-duty engine of 159.7cc consisting of SI, 4 stroke, Oil cooled, SOHC, Fuel Injection 4 valve. This powerful engine can produce maximum power and torque in three different moods. In sport mode, it is able to generate 12.91 kW @ 9250 rpm (17.55 PS), in urban/rain mode 11.5 kW @ 8600 rpm (15.64) max power. Similarly, sport mode produces 14.73 Nm @ 7500 rpm and urban/rain mode 14.14 Nm @ 7000 rpm. This bike has featured with only electric starting which is quite different from its elder brother. With 5-speed gearbox, this durable engine provides maximum performance to make you unstoppable.

Dimension & Seating Position: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Fi is well-knitted  dimension having 1050 mm height, 2035 mm length, 790 mm width and 180mm ground clearance. Its wheelbase is also wider (1357 mm) as before and has 12L capacity fuel tank to enhance riding excitement without re-fueling hassle. Its kerb weight (146 kg) is quite comfortable for all riders. This bike has a duel tone indiscrete racing seat with magnet grip for comfortable riding with pillion even in turning direction.

Suspension & Brakes: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Fi comes with updated telescopic forks in front and mono shock rear suspension as like as this previous model. As the it was praised by raiders because of softer and comfortable TVS doesn’t changed it. In order to enhance braking efficiency TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Fi has adapted single channel ABS  270 mm dia petal disc in front and 200 mm dia petal disc rear. The Roto-petal disc brake is designed to secure aggressive stopping.

Mileage: It has already been mentioned that  Apache RTR 160 4V comes with three modes Sports, Urban and Rain these offers different performances. According to last update TVS Apaches RTR 160 4V Fi provides 47.61 kmpl (City) and 49.80 kmpl (Highway) but this may vary with time course. TVS hopes this new bike may provide satisfactory mileage.

Instrument Panel & Features: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Fi has fully digital Bluetooth  speedo meter which provides  mode shifting indication, gear indication, fuel warning indication, fuel gauge, low battery indication, engine kill switch, trip meter, odometer, and passes light switch attached.  This digital meter has also auto brightness adjustable feature that ensure clear visibility even in sunlight.
