Vespa VXL 125 Feature Review
In the market of the scooter, Vespa is one of the largest brands in the world. Piaggio gets a patent for the Vespa scooters design in April 1946. Vespa is an Italian two-wheeler scooter brand and started its journey in 1943. They manufactured their scooters in many countries. In recently, Piaggio started to launched a Vespa scooter in Bangladesh.
Vespa is a popular scooter brand in Bangladesh. They a well known for their good acceleration rate and fuel economy. Day by day the traffic problem is increasing in our country. The scooter can be a solution to it. Scooters are easy to control and comfortable in a ride. So peoples are getting interested in a scooter.
Design & looks: If the Vespa VXL 125 is viewed from distance, it will hard to find any differences with other Vespa scooters. After when you take a closer look, you will notice the changes and differences, which make it more likable than before. Though its mechanically similar to the scooters in this segment from Vespa, this scooter gets a refreshed design that is tuned with Italian marque’s retro character. Vespa VXL 125 design comes from the Italian manufacturer’s iconic design philosophy. This scooter gets new paint schemes and the paint quality is premium. The front apron is more similar to Vespa VX. The V-shaped front grille with three pieces of steel looks elegant. In the beginning, they were used 3-spoke alloy wheels but now they have replaced
it with 5-spoke alloy wheels. which looks even more gorgeous. The single-piece seat gets the all-new look and more comfortable and roomier than before. The chrome pillion grab rail and the tail lamp remain the same as Vespa VX. The instrumental panel is replaced with a more informative semi-digital in this scooter.
Engine performance: Apart from the style, Piaggio gives its head in its power train. This Vespa VX scooter retains the 3 valves, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled, 125 cc engine which is capable of churns out 9.76 bhp maximum power in peek 7000 rpm and 10.6 Nm @ 6,000 rpm maximum torque. Though this figure remains the same as the previous version. The power of This scooter comes from the CVT box which mated with the rear wheel. Though it looks smaller in size but can produce a good amount of acceleration rate and can boost your daily riding duties. It can easily hit 70-80 km/h.
Dimensions & seating position: There is no doubt about the seating comfort of Vespa scooters. A large single stair roomier seat is added in its feature. The agile handlebar is adjusted with its body and fell easy to use. That makes the scooters best in its segment. The body dimension of Piaggio Vespas is almost the same. This classic scooter has a standard height of 1140 mm, Width 690 and Length 1770 mm. The seating height is also standard of 770 mm and 155 mm ground clearance. That will help to ride even in off-road. 5-spoke alloy wheels are used in this scooter and wheel size is 1290 mm. Suspension & Brakes: Vespa continues to use Aircraft derived single side arm with ant-dive characteristics suspension in front end and Dual-effect hydraulic shock absorber in the rear, just like the Vespa VX. Monocoque Steel High Rigidity Structure type chassis is used on this scooter. This is the only scooter in its segment that uses this chassis. It will provide a good balance and comfort. 200 mm Disc brake is used in front-wheel and 140 mm drum brake in the rear. It will provide safety and better control of riding.
Mileage: Mileage is a very important part of a scooter. People in our country always want a premium quality scooter but a high mileage. This scooter can easily give 50-55 km/l. But it can give more highway riding.
Instrument Panel & Features: The Vespa VXL gets a semi-digital instrumental console. The unit arranged with an analog speedometer in the top and a digital LCD screen below. Which displays the odometer, fuel gauge, clock, and trip meter. The side indicator lights flanking in a small LCD screen beside the digital screen.
Colors & Price: The market price of Vespa VXL 125 is BDT 298,000 according to the latest update. It gets designed with four colors which are Matt Black, Azure Blue, Yellow, and White.
