Walton Leo 90 Feature Review

Walton is one of the oldest motorcycle brand in Bangladesh which used to start manufacturing motorcycles from just few years. At the beginning, they launched some bikes to gain the customer’s trust. Back then they launched Walton Leo 90 by following Hero Honda splendor design. Though, seating position is totally different than Splendor but fuel tank is almost alike. Walton launched it for those who wants heavy mileage and does not worry about style much. Besides, they kept it’s price reasonable to get popularize their brand. They almost succeeded in that case. However, they also revealed Walton Leo also but considering mileage, Leo 90 is far better. Besides, due to it’s looks, peoples those lives in town does not want to by it but considering it’s fuel consumption rate and cheap market price, it is demanded by small town peoples who has small budget as well. But many students of the country are using it to save more transportation cost too.

Design & looks: The design of Walton Leo 90 is a bit old though it released just couple of years ago. Basically, it’s the combination of Honda Splendor and some Runners motorcycle. But however, it’s design is considerably poorer. Though, considering standard bike, it’s design has much to improve but compare with any 80 cc segment bikes, it should be best looking motorcycle in Bangladesh.

Engine performance: Including 86cc air cooled, single cylinder, four stroke engine which maximum power 4.4/ 7500 rpm. Consists of wet type multiple disk clutch plate with four speed gearbox can produce almost 70 km per hour top speed. The engine is made by Ceramic coated which helps to disperse the heat instantly. Electric starting system is included with CDI ignition.

Dimensions & seating position: The overall length, width and height of the bike is (1870 * 740 * 1030) mm respectively which causes problem for tall riders a bit. Besides, the seats of this 90 cc machine is comparatively small which can carry just one pillion easily but comparing with 80 cc again, it seems alright. But the seat is soft and comfortable.

Suspension & Brakes: Telescopic suspension is used for the front part of the bike and there is rear suspension have also used which are pretty well and comfortable for the riders even for long run. The bike is almost 88 kg in weight but after it crosses 70 km per hour speed, a little bit vibration used to feel but not in serious type. Though, both of the brake of the motorcycle is drum. Drum brake is good enough for the ride but company could add disc brake in front for more security. Though, the tyres of the bike is bit thinner but can grip good.

Mileage: The mileage of the motorcycle is the best things. It can provide more than 70 km mileage average which would extend on highway. However, mileage of motorcycle mostly depends on riders and so, it can vary.

Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument panel of this 90 cc machine consists of speedometer and tachometer. Besides, some extra features are added into the bike like PVD coated piston ring & ceramic coated piston along with durable engine, five steps adjustable rear suspension, ceramic resistor based safe ignition wiring, mostly attractive graphics, halogen headlight with high intensity and super LED tail lamp, ergonomic & user convenient switching panel and stylish silencer with heat protector.

Colors & Price: Only red color is available of this motorcycle which current market price is BDT 67,000.
